Very convenient to the beach! Which was especially helpful when traveling with an elder. Bathrooms are very tight, and kitchenette is limited (microwave only). AC worked well. Room very clean (broom and dust pan also available to sweep up sand during stay) Our room was way back in a corner - without a spot to sit in chair and look out at ocean in common areas. Would have been nice to understand if that was definition of no view - I thought that meant just in the room.

Every person working at the property was kind and efficient. The room, a "king with ocean view, first or second floor" was small but adequate. The bathroom was tiny but adequate. My room was on the second floor, and the view was good. If it had been on the first floor, the view would not have been good. The location is excellent, and beach access could not have been better. I would definitely book this experience again.

Didn't like that the owner loves more cash than his sick customers. In Canada you can cancel a reservation the same day before 4 pm but at On the Beach motel more then 36 hours notice if not valid when the three customers are sick and want to cancel the last night that was reserved in a four day stay. We left anyway, won't be returning and will only refer people who have the same mind set of the owner.

The staff(Shirley) and the owner of the property, were very friendly and welcoming! The accommodations were great and the proximity to the beach was exceptional. The mints in the room were a nice touch. I highly recommend this property and am very likely to revisit.

I stayed there because Expedia had a 9.0 rating. How they came up with that is beyond me. It was an average, at 7 best. A 1960s motel with mostly original furnishings. The more I use Expedia, the more reminded I am that I should use someone else

Right on the beach. Decent amenities, real close to everything! Nice little fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Nice pool, and nice path to beach. I think my favorite thing was the broom and dustpan to sweep up the sand from outside, what a nice touch.

Fabulous spot to stay; able to walk to everything for meals, shopping, etc. JJ and Shirley were amazing hosts at front office and provided answers to many questions from restaurants to places to see! Looking forward to going back!!

We were greeted by Shirley - what an awesome, friendly hostess. All of the staff was friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We did not get to use the pool due to time, but looked very inviting and clean. Easy access to the beach. We had a great stay.

Cleanest hotel in OOB! Newly renovated rooms. Spacious room with fridge, keurig, bureau, desk and 2 sitting chairs. Bathroom was unfortunately very tiny. You can hear a lot of stomping overhead in rooms above. Ugh! They offer coffee at front desk starting at 8am. Best front desk clerk! A pleasure meeting Shirley. We just love her. We will be choosing On The Beach on our future OOB trips.
