Don't waste your time or money

Old Orchard Beach is a beautiful place. Unfortunately the accommodations were far from it. The room was terrible. Shower was almost unusable. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and had to ask for clean sheets. I wish I would have taken the time to look around a little more for better accommodations or had been shown different ones. Will never be staying there again.

Recent stay - 8/27-8/30

There was plenty of room in the townhouse unit. Our only issue - and I hesitate to call it an issue, more a desire - is that they would have spent more on the details when they updated the units. The sofa portion of the sofa bed is shedding the leather, the bed portion of it is a bob-o-pedic and was severely stained on both sides. It's tough to tell which light switch does what in some areas. One of the ceiling fans was really wobbly. The upstairs AC had not been cleaned in quite some time and there was visible mold on the vents. There is AC in the 2nd bedroom, but not the master. Under the beds had not been vacuumed in quite some time. It's small things in some areas but it adds up..had we not been looking for a place to just sleep we likely would have been more affected. I will say it's close to the beach and attractions.

Had a horrible time room wasn’t clean and bed was uncomfortable.Lady was very rude towards me and I didn’t appreciate that and didn’t help me much when I asked her things about place

It was not cleaned very well, when we pulled out the sofa bed there was gum wrapper and mouse poop. But other then that it was a nice stay.

Close walk to the beach; not too far to the pier but far enough away that it was quiet. We had our 7 month old son and the room was perfect for his pack and play. The kitchenette was convenient so we didn’t have to eat out every meal.

Our stay was just as we had hoped. We loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. We also had a room with an open kitchen area and the fact that it had dishes, cookware and untesils was great. The staff was very helpful and we definitely will be returning there again.

Close to the beach

The pool was great, we were within mins of the beach by foot. The owners were nice. I think if I stayed here again, I would utilize the outdoor grills that the lodgers can use. There was a full sized fridge and stove as well as a microwave. I would stay again.

Service was good but not real clean. Also, we found a couple screws just lying around. The parking could have been a little bigger to better accommodate larger vehicles. The pool area was very nice and the short walk to the beach was nice.

Much needed vacation

After a year and a half of working crazy hours my husband and I were looking for a nice place to relax and just enjoy doing nothing. We wanted a place that had a kitchen so that we wouldn’t have to stress about feeding 2 teenage boys constantly. This hotel was exactly what we were looking for and the price was great. We had a 2 bedroom townhouse which gave everyone the privacy we needed. A full kitchen and a grill off the back patio. The beach was less then a 3 minute walk and the boardwalk was a nice 15 minute walk. Our teenagers loved the hot tub and pool. This will be our go to spot from now on when we head to Maine.

Fine as a last resort

The best part of the concord was its proximity to the beach. Everything else was just ok. The WiFi didn’t work and the cell reception inside the building for Verizon was terrible. The furnishings were in really worn condition and there were several burned out lightbulbs. The stove had two non functioning burners. There weren’t even extra rolls of toilet tissue. The owners live onsite, but every time I tried to call or go to the office they weren’t there and no other number was available to call. We’ll likely pick a different rental next time.

I stayed waited my husband and I was charged for an extra person which I thought was kind of odd but the suite itself was pretty cute. It was a typical beach motel set up. There were some stains on the couch so we didn’t use that but it was clean other than that. Very close to beach access. About a 17 minute walk to the pier.

The only saving grace was the kindness of the owners and the motels proximity to the beach. Unfortunately these are the only positive things I have to say about our stay. It was so bad that we ate the cost of the second night, packed as fast as we could, and relocated. The rooms were dated and dirty, furniture stained, the AC did not work on a very hot day/night, other people there made us feel unsafe or were loud. A strict no smoking policy is posted but our room had a terrible stale smoke smell. It was just a very unpleasant experience. We will not be returning.

Great motel just a few blocks walk from the beach! Sweet little efficiencies with full kitchen and separate bedroom. Ours was on the ground floor so we entered thru the locking slider, bonus for safety peg at the top of the door, helped keep our escape artist autistic son from leaving the room. Room was very clean overall, sofa and sofabed seemed new, bed was comfortable, sheets were clean. We has a shag carpet that smelled a little bit musty, just got some carpet cleaner powder and used the provided vacuum and much better. Small issue with one of the TV's, the owner came over to troubleshoot and called cable company, was fixed later that afternoon. There is free Wi-Fi, it was a little bit spotty, but that is kind of to be expected at a motel. No room cleaning service due to Covid, but that did not bother us at all. They came around with fresh towels every morning. Great pool, my son spent the majority of his time there! The owners were very pleasant, overall we had a great stay and would stay there again if at OOB!

Une des places les moins pire à Old Orchard dans cette fourchette de prix. À une distance raisonnable du Pier et dans un coin tranquille, ce qui est apprécié. Par contre beaucoup d'améliorations à apporter. La chambre a une entrée par une porte patio double dont les rideaux à lattes ne cachent pas au complet la fenêtre. Pas l’idéal pour avoir un peu d’intimité. La douche a un très très faible jet et la salle de bain sent toujours l’humidité. La toilette ne « flush » pas tout le temps très bien.
