"Pros: 1. Location: many bus stops nearby, and hotel is between 2 of the largest shopping centres in Beppu. So finding food is easy. There is also a nice restaurant opposite the hotel, Royal Host. Con’s 1. We wanted to check in at 2 pm but staff was insistent to only let us check in at 3pm. So we waited at the lobby. There was no traffic in the hotel in that one hour and at 2.45pm, we were then offered the room. Why so rigid? 2. The hotel was unmanned at night, which may pose a security...

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The best part other than our awesome view was the shower! I loved the water pressure. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It was a 12 minute walk from Oita Station, and there was a Lawson around the corner. We also got free breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. The room was spacious but the balcony was the star of the room. Would definitely stay here again."
