My stay here was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, and it even smelled clean and fresh. The evening and overnight was quiet and conducive to a good nights sleep. The breakfast was sufficient and of good quality as well. Very well-run establishment.

Amazing beds
I have nothing but good things to say. I asked if I could check out a little later and they were able to accommodate my request. I then found out I was on the 2nd floor which worried me because I had a lot of luggage and have a very bad back. The guy immediately transferred me down to a room on the 1st floor. And the beds, OMG the beds were absolutely AMAZING!!! That was the most comfortable night of sleep I’ve had in years. I would actually pay to take that mattress home.

This hotel is a great value. It has an upscale feel. The beds are comfortable, it is a quiet location near dining options. We will make it a point to use this hotel again when traveling to Iowa to visit friends and family.

I didn't like that there was no elevator. It's hard to carry luggage up stairs. There was dirt/mud clumps on the carpets in the hallways. The side door is hard to open. My sink was slow to drain. But the room was comfortable. I got a good night sleep.

We met family from out of town to go to UIU football game in Fayette. We enjoyed playing cards in the lobby and visiting. Good breakfast, clean rooms, and attentive staff. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast wasn't great. When we checked in people were at the tables playing games and were super loud could hardly hear the clerk checking us in. Later the clerk was sitting with the people playing games. Rooms werent super clean. Looked like the carpet hadn't been vacuumed except on the main walkway. Not anything special for $100 a night.

Stairs and hallways could use a vacuum...crumbs, dirt on the hallway/stairs carpet when I arrived...crumbs an dirt still on the hallway/stairs carpet. Rooms appear clean but the 'carpet fresh' powder smell is overwhelming. Bed shirts are torn, other items average to below standard, but it is a small town with not many options.
