Find Adventure Hotels in Odate

The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast which features local dishes. Kome eice is great. And as long as they serve small bowl of soup with Hinai Jidori meatballs, side dish of tonburi and cut nagaimo, I'll always choose this hotel. Staff are always nice and kind. A bit of local dialect that they speak also helps relax my mind. I appreciate the kind service and wonderful time while staying there. Arigato!

The breakfast attendants were some of the nicest people we've met, super gracious

Great Hotel! Staff was very friendly. Includes free parking and breakfast! おすすめ

Staff were very helpful.

Close to a JR station and walkable to the main Odate station, close to a bus stop and the desk is helpful to call a Taxi if that is what you are after instead. Close to the Akita Museum and places to eat, about a 4-5 minute walk to the nearby Lawson's as well as about a 10-15minute walk to the mall which has a big shop for food and drinks as well as a Daiso. Peaceful area, beautiful views of nature and the mountains that surround Odate. I just wish there had been an outlet next to the bed but...

Cute little inn, run by really nice people. Dinners were fantastic—different every night. The staff were really nice and even gave us a ride to the train station early the morning we left. The inn is across the street from the resort shuttle, so it’s easy to get to and from Appi Resort.

Amazing hotel for the price. Very happy with our stay. The onsen was great. Everything was provided in the hotel that we needed.

Excellent experience

Amazing breakfast!!!!

One of the most modern and luxurious ryokan we've ever stayed. The kaiseki dinner and the breakfast are skillfully elevated. The grounds are well kept and exudes zen. The onsen bath with a view of the still rock pond is especially striking in the evening. The room is spacious enough for 4. There's samisen concert at night after dinner, there's bookstore, etc.

The service was super good

It's deep in the mountain and you can enjoy the summer green of the Shirakami. You may need a car to get there but I chose to go by myself, took a taxi between the hotel and Futatsui station, which gave me a wonderful opportunity of talking with a driver who spoke true local dialect of Fujisato area. Hotel staff were all kind. At the souvenir shop, you'll find nice local items like handicrafts and unique food. Rooms and facilities are all clean. Very comfortable!

Friendly staff

The hotel is way up in the mountain. The road driving up has curves. Breakfast in the hotel is great. We had dinners at the nearby village.
