Prior to my booking I called (3 separate conversations with hotel staff) the hotel to make sure that they had provided a Ada complaint room. The three folks I spoke to assured me that everything was compliant. Upon arrival, my mother who is 77 years old is an amputee and has a paralyzed left arm, realize that they gave us a regular two-bed queen room.
I have to spend $89 for a shower transfer chair to shower my mom for the whole week.
When asking the management to get us a Ada room, they said they didn't have any available and they would refund my money and I could go find another place to stay.
I had booked this room two weeks in advance, driven 10 hours, with my elderly mom, wanted to relax with my family at the Camp Pendleton. Getting a refund and looking for another hotel was not an option. Even if I was perplexed the hotel could not make accommodations in such a big hotel. I'll never rent there again
