Hotel Märthof Basel
Great location. Lovely food. But very small rooms. Beds moved all the time and was quite noisy to sleep in. Limited amenities. Staff was exceptional and super helpful. They do try to downgrade us form what we paid for so make sure you check!

Hotel Schweizerhof Basel
Convenient location across from train terminal. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. A nice bar and lounge area. The bed had traditional and very comfortable duvets.
