Historic hotel with cozy rooms at a great location

Great hotel for visiting the Schwarzwaldhochstraße, and heading across the border to the Alsase region in France. We enjoyed the included breakfast to start off our day and had a nice dinner at the restaurant one evening. The staff was very friendly and multilingual and helped us with our limited Deutsch. The room was comfortable and thankfully well heated. Thanks to the management and staff for maintaining an historic hotel from the 1600s and keeping up with 21st century amenities. We look forward to a future stay!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and made all effort to make me feel at home: I was traveling with my dog and they allowed him into the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was excellent. The town of Overkirch is quite delightful - good place to wander around and the Obere Linde a very comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Das Hotel ist ein sehr schönes Mittelklasse Hotel direkt im Zentrum von Oberkirch gelegen. Sehr freundlicher Service, großzügige Zimmer und die zentrale Lage sind ein absolutes Plus für dieses Hotel. Immer wieder gerne.

Charming hotel with friendly staff

Hotel was quite charming and rustic- just what I want in a local hotel. The staff were all fantastic and friendly. Our waitress was adorable and so nice. Checkin and checkout was fast and the young lady was very sweet.

Great location and super clean room

Location excellent and room was very clean and large. The bathroom was very pretty and large as well. It was easy to walk to the town center, good shopping and restaurants nearby. Tasty breakfast as well, included in price.

Gute Lage, schönes, historisches Gebäude. Das Zimmer war etwas altbacken, aber sehr sauber.

Wir hatten eine Zeit in Oberkirch verbracht. Auch unter neuer Leitung ist somit die Obere Linde eine tolles Hotel in Oberkirch. Besonders in der neugestalteten Hauptstraße, die direkt vor der Tür liegt kann man Oberkirch toll erleben.

Mooi hotel met mooi uitzicht vanuit restaurant

Leuk hotel met goede voorzieningen en vriendelijk personeel. Eten is zeer goed. Wel is het beetje vreemd dat niet alle hotelkamers bereikbaar zijn binnendoor, maar enkel via een gebouw aan de overzijde die enkel buiten bereikbaar is. Verder dik in orde.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area

This pretty hotel is in traditional German style - the room we stayed in was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast served on the terrace was very good. The local area is beautiful. I would very happily re-visit this hotel.
