Everything as a whole was amazing, sophia the receptionist was very kind, sweet, helpful and very sociable with a beautiful smile that is welcoming. Rooms were very well put together and honestly close to every oaxaca city has to offer. If you are into experiencing night life ex: bars,food, views then this is the place to be. A beautiful place to stay

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. The location, staff, and breakfast were all outstanding, while the room and shared spaces were beautifully designed. The terrace is a real highlight! The room could be a little noisy but you expect this given the location.

Great stay!

Loved our stay here. Our room was beautifully designed and chic, bed was comfortable, lots of space. The staff is fantastic! So friendly and helpful. Amazing breads and breakfast in the morning, the B&B is part of a famous bakery restaurant next store so guests get treated to the delicious fancy pastries and foods. Great central location, within minutes to everything you'd want in Oaxaca Centro. I would stay here again.

Stay at Boulenc!

We loved the people, the service, the food and drink options, the location, the rooftop patio. This place is GREAT! Our only issue was that the road facing room was too hot and opening the window was no good due to road noise. Ask for a room not in the street side. We would stay here again in a heartbeat

Attractive accommodations with delightful terrace in a convenient location. Attentive and helpful staff. Unfortunately the two clubs nearby were blasting music every night into the morning. We had 5 nights of not getting much sleep. Too bad, otherwise we would recommend.

Really nice and quirky hotel. It was a very nice touch the little presents they gave us, and the free tapas in the afternoons. The rooms were nice and the bed very comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit too dark. Note there is no AC in the rooms, only a ceiling fan. When we visited Oaxaca it was very hot (34C), and had we had AC, we would've slept better. The rooftop was beautifully decorated and provided wonderful views. It is close to everything: great restaurants around and near bars to go for a drink.

It has a lovely aesthetic! I like the concept of the place. The terrace is beautiful and has 4 beautiful views of the city and concert arena. You can eat, rest, read and work up there. Casa de La Ciudad, is a local library less than a block away with a lot to read and research. Only down side to this place is the air conditioning, but a good trick is to open the windows and use the fan and wear cool pajamas. I’ll definitely return when the weather is less hot.

Great value. Don’t let the building exterior put you off. Our hotel room was clean, rustic, and comfortable. The hotel is a small oasis in the middle of Oaxaca with a beautiful patio and rooftop terrace where one can relax and eat some of the complementary morning and evening tapas. Convenient location in the historic district with amazing restaurants and mezcal bars just a short walk away. The only downside is that the street outside is very noisy at night with loud trucks and cars passing by constantly and a bar outside with loud music and singing. The hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs in the room but I recommend bringing your own with a higher noise reduction rating.

We had a great day. The room was cute and well designed we slept comfortably. I had a comfortable day. The highlight of this place is the breakfast. It’s a small spread, but everything tastes amazing and you can make your own plate and order eggs however you like the pastries or the highlight the hotel has associated bakeries restaurant and a little stores that sells homemade jams, pickles, etc. we really enjoyed our stay here and will return to have great breakfast on the rooftop terrace getting more pastries from the next-door bakery, and just enjoying our time in Oaxaca.

Clean room, great staff very responsive and helpful. Staff shared many suggestions etc. Walkable to all areas. Not the properties fault but there’s very loud music a few doors down which went on until around 2/2:30am which was a little tough. Apart from that great place.
