The BART train tracks are right behind the building and if your room is on that side, the noise level from trains is relatively high.

We love the set up of the rooms with bedroom and small kitchen! There could definitely be updates made in the hotel, the carpet in the rooms and throughout the hallway is pretty gross. The food court across the street is so fun! It's pricey but the variety of delicious foods makes it worth it and it's so close, safe and clean. We find this to be an amazing location for visiting the Bay area. We got free parking with our stay which was amazing! Confused that they would even charge for parking in the first place considering they have a huge lot with tons of space but we really appreciated not having to pay for this ridiculous extra fee. It was a good time and we'd stay here again!

The hotel is brand new and clean. It is close to the train station but you have to heave your luggage up a pedestrian bridge to get to it. Fyi if you arrive "after hours" the door facing the track is locked so you have to walk all the way around the property to get in.

I reserved a suite to accommodate my family’s stay while in town for the weekend. As we were traveling from out of state, we had delays at the airport. I called front desk staff to provide notification of our delay in efforts to keep our reservation. We arrived at the hotel close to 1:00AM with our toddler. We were all exhausted from our travels and were very much looking forward to settling in our room and getting much needed rest, specially my toddler. Tia handled our check-in. Unfortunately, she ensured we had a poor and disappointing experience at check-in. She was unprofessional, rude, unwelcoming, and unkind throughout our interactions. I was left feeling uncomfortable when asking simple questions such as ‘what floor is our room in’ as the responses were passive aggressive. I would have opted to pursue other hotel options had it not been past midnight with a toddler with me. I hesitated coming down to purchase water at the front desk as I did not want to interact with Tia given the unpleasant experience. We ended up meeting other staff the next day, all of who were nice and welcoming, specially house keeping staff. I talked to management in regards to my experience, and he graciously waived parking fees due to the inconvenience. While that was very kind of him, I am unsure I will return to this hotel in the future. My family and I shouldn’t have been treated poorly in the first place.

Suitable for a short utilitarian stay (our floors were being redone and we needed a place nearby that took dogs). Breakfast was included, but was nearly inedible - mealy sausages, eggs premixed from a carton, frozen tater tots, and very weak coffee. We skipped it the 2nd day of our stay. Parking is self-parked for an unguarded not gated lot in a sketchy area known for car break-ins. Bar.restaurant was not open, except for breakfast. Pros: short walk to Trader Joe's and the Emeryville Public Market for decent food, and ez freeway access,

The room was nice. The breakfast absolutely cheap something i would expect at a 50 dollars a nute motel 6. Sad actually, you just know some management to cut costs goes super cheap on the. Breakfast fake eggs,fake bacon,frozen potatoes frozen pancakes, nothing cooked to order zero frills breakfast, i expected more for my 170 plus dollar nite there. I wont be back.

They only serve breakfast and do not provide any other dining options. The biggest deal breaker was the girl at the front desk. She was unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. Needed a trolley to move our luggage and they did not have any available and she did not do anything to help us find one.. no apologies or concern. Would not recommend this place.

Located between SF and Berkley. Easy access to interstate. Nice view of bay bridge, SF downtown, far way golden bridge. Nice sunset view from hotel room. Trader Joe and restaurants near by. Breakfast was OK. Staff were great. Overall, great experience.

The property was old and smelled bad. But it was very affordable for the price we paid. And the rooms were big, the pillows were soft and the bed was fine. The couch in our room showed signs of wear and tear with some frayed edges and housekeeping forgot to vacuum the couch to get rid of crumbs. The crumbs were left for the next visitor. (Yuck)

The location was great, could walk there from the train station. Breakfast selection was great. Liked the white noise machine. The property is clean, but very dated. Shower water was only warm at night, though hot in the morning. Seemed to be no ice or vending machines on my floor, and limited snack/treat options in the lobby store. I arrived late, so would have appreciated more snack options and iced coffee drinks in the lobby fridge to buy in the morning.

Staff was okay, did not want to help. Was in rush for no reason. I have stayed at Marriot hotels for many years at a stretch now and service is better. Team could have been a bit courteous with my wife with physical incapabilities and her accommodation needs.

the staff was rude and not helpful. we booked a large suite and our room was not ready by the time we arrived so they gave us a smaller room. called to ask to change back and they stated this is what we booked and ask us to pay extra to get the room we supposed to get. disappointed and would not use again since we know what we choose from the beginning from previous experience.
