The beds were mediocre. The carpets were from the early 90s. The bathroom was less than clean. It had an odd smell. The night front desk person was not very personable.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! Check-in wasy easy and the front desk worker was so friendly. She even let us stay in the pool late! The hotel and our room was absolutely impeccably clean! We have traveled all over the world and this is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Even though it was just a quick overnight stay, everything about it was wonderful. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Thanks for a great stay!

Not worth a stop, pick a different hotel in town.
Staff was not attentive at all. Rose concerns that the TV, Microwave, fridge and half the lights didn’t work. Was responded to with I’ll let maintenance know. They then showed up almost 14 hours later as I was checking out and didn’t fix the problem and left. This did nothing to resolve this nor switch me rooms. That was after having to hunt down a person working because their person at the front was in back the whole time and not responding to calls the the desk. The hotel pool and whirlpool were also out of order. I don’t recommend this hotel very poor experience. Other nicer hotels, even the super 8 are available.

The only reason for the 4 stars is the hot tub was too hot and pool too cold for my taste. Everything else is great - will stay here again.

The front desk representative (a female) that checked us in at 6pm was rude and less than helpful! Maybe she was having a bad day but it wasn’t my fault… I walked up to the front counter and was instantly met with attitude. I was like “Does my room have 3 beds or 2 beds and one sofa bed?” Her response was “I don’t work for housekeeping I don’t know.” She grabbed my ID and card to pay with, and abruptly set it down, as if I was the most annoying thing that’s ever happened to her…. Definitely not something I expected to put up with when I bought two rooms and after being on the road all day long and super tired. But other than that the stay was amazing.

Nice spot for one night. HoJo is trying to rebrand themselves with updated vintage look. Breakfast was good too. Cheaper to stay here than in Chamberlain, across the river.
