great location
This resort is close to the airport and all the amazing sites of Bagan. It is super easy to rent an e-bike and explore the area. New Bagan is about 20 minutes on the bike, which is about as far as you would probably explore anyways. All the great places to eat are very near the resort as well. You can also just rest at the resort. Their breakfast is great and there is a pool and spa are great.

Like: Early and quick check in, friendly and helpful staff Don't like: Not walkable to any restaurants (except hotel restaurant) or attraction. Toiletries are always not enough for use (especially bath shower gel) with the small reusable container that they use. Ants can be found in hotel room near dressing table. Cockroach can be seen in hotel room too. Suggest to have better pest control. Alot of mosquitoes in the hotel breakfast buffet area.

We chose the hotel because our Hot Balloon was going to fly within 5 mins ride. It was helpful in the early morning as we were able to sleep a bit more. The hotel has a nice atmosphere - good mixture of traditional decoration and modern facilities. Their swimming pool looked inviting but we did not bring our swimming suits... Breakfast was sumptuous and staff were very attentive. We got fruit basket, which became our dinner. The hotel is quite far from main attractions and other restaurants, so once you're in, you're quite confined...

Awesome!
I had a lovely stay at Amazing Bagan Resort. The room was great (although the floors could do with a resending and polishing). Very quiet. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast buffet awesome! If I come back to this area, I’ll definitely stay here again!

Amazing Bagan is a solid property with lovely bungalow rooms. There were two issues that required management resolution (and they were solved). Mae deserves a thumbs up for her efforts.

The pool area was beautiful. The resort is surrounded by a golf course and beautiful property. There's palm trees everywhere and it's a nice break from busier tourist areas. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel or resort. They accommodated every need and had multiple tourist programs to sign up for. They were so kind in every interaction and made a point to remember who we were. I had an amazing time and this resort is worth the stay simply for the excellent staff. The amazing complimentary breakfast and views are just a bonus!

We had a fabulous time at Amazing Bagan which was close to the airport, Old Bagan and a road of eateries. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful (especially Shine) who met all our needs and even gave us tips for our onward journey. The hotel provided a range of transport including a car, tuk tuk and e-bikes that we’re really good fun and allowed a great deal of flexibility when sightseeing. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

A little bit of Paradise
The biggest asset this hotel has is its attentive, friendly and helpful staff. The grounds are beautiful as is the pool area. We enjoyed being away from the melee of Bagan. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes to walk to the main road from the hotel down a shaded avenue of trees. The food was lovely and the breakfast buffet is the best in Myanmar. The only comment we would make is that the pool area was not always staffed so trying to get a drink was difficult. Other than that, this a great place to chill and relax in and we would definitely recommend the hotel, its staff, the restaurant and the Spa staff. Well done.

Everything was amazing, five star
Breakfast was next level. They had everything and it was amazing. Staff were really helpful without being overbearing. Facilities were stunning and clean (pool/room/shower etc). Food in restaurant was beautiful. Definitely come and stay here, you won’t regret it.

AMAZING!!!
The hotel is simply that ; Amazing! The staff is really great! All of them ! They even pass every evening to offer sweets, check the room and clean up a bit. The facilities are also great; swimming pool, spa, beautiful gardens, etc. Regarding the breakfast, it was simply the best in Myanmar (traditional, Asian, Western , everything ..)

Great resort with a large pool. Happy hour at poolside 1400 - 1700. Cocktails half price. Less than $2.00. Just what you need if you want a break from temples and Pagodas and pointy rocks for a while. Staff very friendly and helpful

Lovely quiet location but accessible.
Lovely quiet location but walking distance to restaurant street in nyaung u. Great breakfast, comfy clean rooms, nice pool. You can hire ebikes here although they are cheaper in town, it's about a twenty minutes walk to town.

Best hotel in Bagan!
We stayed for two nights. Hotel staff is great, and very accommodating. Rooms and pool were spotless! Great dos and gold course( though with no driving range) Breakfast is delicious and on a deck outside. Rent a scooter to see the temples and live like kings? Book this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

I traveled Bagan with my boyfriend for 4 days. The hotel locates nowhere in the green. You might need a bike or scooter or taxi for sightseeing and even just go out for dinner. Room, bed and bathroom were big. There was a swimming pool but the pool area and water looked dirty. Anyway, it's relax to stay on the sun chair to enjoy the view. Very nice staffs, they could satisfy all your needs. There was a tourist street full of yummy local food restaurants!

Clean and Comfortable
We stayed for two nights in an upgraded corner room. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was good. The wifi worked fairly well. The staff was friendly. The pool and spa were very clean and pleasant. The only problem was that the menu at the restaurant was quite limited. This is a problem because the hotel is somewhat isolated and so you have a choice of eating at their restaurant over and over again, whicih is not an amazing experience, or taking a cab into town and taking your chances with a different restaurant.

Amazing Bagan Not Totally Amazing
The staff at this hotel was amazing, they were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast spread is pretty good with lots of choices. Where this hotel is lacking is the structure. The bathroom was a disaster, the bath tub leaked and the standing shower was a bit uncomfortable. The AC made a lot of noise and woke me up a few times. The hotel structure needs upgrading.

Good base for exploring the temples (although a 10 min taxi ride from town). The room was quite nice, but the restaurant needs updating.

Bedbugs
BEDBUGS! I got chewed up but didn't want to complain because I didn't want toxic chemicals sprayed in there when I had a 5 year old with me. I slept with natural bug repellent on after that, but had a full week of people asking me what happened to my arm. Aside from that, staff are friendly & everything looked clean. The food was average, I wish they had more Myanmar dishes rather than western food (they had 3 curries which were good, but that's it). The hotel is extremely quiet as it is located close to the pagodas but away from the hustle of the town. This was ok for the price, shame about the bedbugs.

Nice hotel but secluded
It didn´t start well. I had booked transfere from the pier to the hotel but they didn´t show up. They say they didn´t know which peir it was but then they shouldn´t have accecpted to book pick up and all the other hotel manage to be there. But they were really sorry and I got a good compensation from them. I had requested a room high up in the building and got one on the botton floor where everyone passed by outside so I could never pull the curtains. The room itself was nice. The hotel is about a kilometer from the main road and anything else. If you rent an ebike with them and take it for the full day (8 hours) then you can plan so you can have dinner somewhere else. The staff is really friendly and nothing is too much of a problem. I had a good time and enjoyed Bagan.
