「Next to the pub, great location, surprisingly large unit, very good price.」

「Very helpful staff, was given an upgrade when we arrived to check in just before 8pm. Very clean room and comfy bed. We would stay again in the future. Only thing was probably having trouble with locking the sliding door and the smell of the towels were not pleasant. But other than that, nice motel.」

「Room was clean and warm, could not hear neighbours which was great, spa was perfect, curtains kept the sun out for those sleep in mornings, bed was comfortable. No Milk was provided nor offered. Coffee mugs were tiny and half the size of a can. Parking is not allocated to your room so it’s a first in first served.」

「Easy access to the beach」

「We've stayed at whakatane riverside holiday park a few times, but the cleanliness of this cabin was pretty poor, Cobb webbs and dust and looks dated.」

「Stay was comfortable. The bathrooms were separate from the cabin and this was a bit of an issue for us. We traveled from overseas, and are not familiar with the setup of holiday parks. Online they do not mention that bathrooms are outside and shared. Overall, it was comfortable.」

「The partial view from unit 1 could only be seen if you stood in the right position outside on the balcony and then you could just see some ocean. The apartment had all the facilities, however it is getting a little dated and in need of maintenance. The fans had dust on top and the bedroom fan control knob was broken and difficult to turn without it.」
