Wonderful stay with our two young kids. The beach was spectacular without being overrun with pushy vendors. Good food. Great drinks. Super comfy beds. We spent most of our time at the non-activity pool because it was more chill without music blaring all day. Service was hit and miss but no big deal. The specialty restaurants were really really good too. Would definitely return if the price was right. We would have bought day passes to the beach club but they were asking $200usd per person. There was no chance we were going to waste our vacation on the timeshare presentation to get the beach passes for free. All in all a great vacation.

We really enjoyed our vacation at Marival. There are lots of activities and plenty to do. We were travelling with a group of families and had 5 teens aged 12-17. There was something for everyone. The food was excellent. I’m not really a buffet person, but I enjoyed the buffet for all meals. The food was fresh, and the food stations were kept very clean. I loved getting a table in the outdoor part, especially for breakfast. The pools were also very clean and well-maintained. The only complaint I have is that there was no hot water for my shower, but fortunately, we had two rooms, so I had somewhere else to shower. If not, I would have changed rooms. We played a lot of pickleball and used the bikes several times to bike on the path and go to the mall (buy sunscreen at the mall, it’s much cheaper that at the resort). Overall, it was a wonderful vacation, and I recommend it.

The sunsets were stunning every night.
My favourite night. They turn the main pool deck into a Mexican fiesta night. The food was delicious.

The staff is wonderful, the food was really good and plentiful. Our favourite a la Carte was the Italian. We really enjoyed the large buffet, pizza place and outdoor lunch. Mexican night with the entertainment was the best evening of all festivities. The teens enjoyed the kids club and disco. Free yoga on beach plus water exercise daily. There was so much more we had yet to do. We had hot water for showers despite warnings of no hot water. Never an issue. Prosecco tables for mimosa in mornings, plenty of coffee, tequila carts in the afternoon I recommend Marival Emotions. We would return.

We just returned from a week long trip with our 4 and 6 year old. This place was amazing - so clean, the food was great, restaurants were all so good and the staff was fantastic. We stayed in a 1 bedroom and there was so much space. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

All the staff were most helpful and very friendly. Our concierge Octavio Mora was most helpful in everything, from changing our room to a ground level, to securing a motorized scooter, to helping with friends coming for a day pass, to helping print out boarding passes when we were ready to fly home, and everything else we needed or wanted. We give him a 10+ rating. He went above and beyond doing whatever he could to make us enjoy our 10 days there. We were with our grandchildren and great-grandchildren (ages 2 and 4) and will definitely be back!! Thank you Marival Emotions!

2nd stay at Marival & very enjoyable. The buffet food is very good with lots of choices & the à la carte restaurants, Amalfi & Silk are excellent 5 star. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Lots of young families but the adult pool is quiet. The only concern is that the bathroom cleaning in our room could have been better.

This resort was spectacular. We were so happy in our decision to vacation here with our young kids and senior grandparents. The ramps and elevators make the walking very easy. The food was delicious and way better than some of the reviews. The kids pool is an absolute highlight. Silk and Amalfi were also superb. Finally, their concierge Octavio is absolutely phenomenal. He went above and beyond more times than we could ask and honestly was one of the kindest people we met. We are so grateful for the help he gave us and our family and are sure to visit him on our return again soon.

Overall, it is very family friendly. They have kids section in the buffet with fries/ chicken fingers etc, high chairs, plastic plates. Kid's club always opens with kids activities ongoing. I am happy to go again with my two young kids if there is any good deals available.

It is definitely family friendly but don't forget water shoes for the kids as the area around the kids pool was quite slippery. I wish the drinks were a little more consistent and that they cleaned up the glasses around the pool area more. We stayed around the activities pool so I can only speak on that. The Asian restaurant (Silk) was awesome, the Italian (Amalfi) was also very good but La Pergola (Mexican) was terrible. Nice omelet station at the buffet. Snack bar (La Bamba) was very good and there's an ice cream stand as well. It is a time share resort but we were only approached when we arrived and they respected that we were not interested. And I loved that there was laundry available for 120 pesos per load including soap. Didn't have to bring home wet clothes!

We enjoyed a beautiful room overlooking the pool with the ocean as a background. It's a very impressive lobby and that impression stays with you and is enhanced everywhere you go. From the incredible Pacific ocean sunsets to the " by reservation" only restaurants to the buffets everything is above standard. We highly recommend and will be back. The one thing we'll do differently is to request a room not overlooking the pool, we're senior citizens and did not appreciate the music and loud activities. Some may love it and the patio doors to the balcony were good quality providing good sound proofing. But if you want to enjoy the balcony it's loud, fortunately by the time it was time to watch the sunset the pool activities had ceased. Beach lounges are plentiful and lots of staff available to fulfill your needs.

Upon check-in be prepared to get bombarded with a time-share presentation. After travelling for most of the day all I want to do is get to my room, instead I have to sit through a mini presentation trying to get us to buy in, I was not a happy guest at this point.

This was our second time staying at Marival Emotions and we had a great time! We love the location. It’s not far from the airport and it’s right on the beach. They have 4 pools so there is something for everyone and it worked well for our family. The staff are generally very friendly and we were very impressed by their positive demeanours despite what was happening in Puerto Vallarta and not being able to go home that night. The food is pretty good. We enjoyed their new Asian fusion restaurant, but we wish they had more options. They used to have a Steak and Seafood restaurant that we really liked.

Our room overlooked the grand pool area and had a view of the ocean-so beautiful! A tad loud on Mexican nights but only till 9 or so and wow-awesome musicians! We LOVED our stay!
