Both rooms were sloped (not level). The mountain has shifted over the last 40 years or so so the cabins have as well. Everything was clean and well maintained. The number of steps required to access the office, beach, bar and rooms is beyond the ability of anyone with a disability.

Beautiful, rustic, just what we wanted. Some might say wooden and worn. But we loved it, we booked the honeymoon suit, and I felt like we were on out own desert island staying in a tree house. Very authentic. Im glad we had the Honeymoon suit as many of the cabins we on a very steep hill. The boathouse and honeymoon suit are close to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful. Room was clean, food not great, I would avoid eating in there, the hotel nxt door, their food was much better. There was a lovely young man that carried our cases for us. I cant remember his name, hes was so kind and helped throughout our stay, very friendly.

Perfecr remote location at this resort

We had an absolutt wonderful stay at this resort. The hotel team took great care of us, and both the food and the beach location was brilliant. We stayed at row 1 and 2 on the beach and it was perfect!

The resort is located away from most tourist places and provides a relaxing safe place to stay at - or to take day-trips from. The personnel is friendly and helpful. The only minus would be that during the busy season the resort would need more people manning the restaurant and bar.

Nice place in koh jum where Everything is just Perfect. From the quiet pool to the food and drinks on The quiet and beautiful beach. I highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from it all and live completely stress free 5 star !!

I would never recommend anyone to book this hotel! Even if the view is amazing and really easy access to the beach. 1. I’ve never been this disappointed over the none existing service, we tried to eat at the hotel restaurant a multiple times but no one wanted to take our order so after a while we ended up leaving… the problem the staff was just to lazy to take our orders because we were the only one there… 2. We found out that the restaurant at our hotel was so much more expensive than the two other hotels restaurants. And surprisingly they had excellent service. 3. We were so disappointed that we left 2 days before checkout, and when we checked out the staff tried to scam us. They said we had to pay 8000 tbh for our bills in the restaurant and when we asked to see the bills we calculated we only ate for 3800 tbh. 4. It is so remote located it was hard to see the rest of the island.

Place is run down. 1/2 the dinning chairs are wobbly like to break. Tables missing boards. The honeymoon room has termites bug poop in our face all night. Staff said it was an existing problem. Road to resort is a goat path last mile. Food was good (over priced). Breakfast was fine schedule a 5 day left in 2. Nice honeymoon.

GORGEOUS LITTLE RETREAT

I was at this resort in 2019 and it was amazing - it's still fabulous but the property could do with some TLC (been closed for two years due to Covid) the rooms are gorgeous but make sure you get a room close to the beach as it's a very steep climb to the top. Great service, good food and the beach is beautiful. Views straight over to Phi Phi.

This is a charming place to stay. If you want to unwind in a natural setting, away from the sterility of a hotel, this is it. If your idea of nightlife is to linger over a delicious dinner within sight and sound of the ocean, look no further. The staff are what make this place: you will come to regard them as friends. They will arrange whatever outdoor activity you seek. We had a private boat to swim and snorkel in the beautiful coves of Phi Phi Island. I’m am writing this with a heavy heart was I’m leaving, but I know I’ll be back. Meanwhile, your adventure awaits!

Very disappointed as was excited about trip Hotel very shabby and not worth the money but it was new year so high prices Honeymoon room lovely lay out but had to ask for towels cleaning etc Lots of monkeys amusing but scarey in packs trying to open the bungalows Monkey poo not gleaned from balcony for 4 days Food not great and expensive as were drinks Staff not well trained in service but felt sorry for them they seemed sad Very quiet area great for total chill out Dangerous mud road to get there washed away by rains with steep scary drop Owner needs to keep it maintained , it’s a pity

Very disappointed

The hotel grounds along with the swimming pool are very dirty. There are a lot of intimidating wild monkeys running around the grounds and across the room roofs all day long from early morning until late at night making it impossible to get a good nights sleep. If you have any difficulty climbing stairs this is not the place for you. There are over 100 steps from the top road to the restaurant and the reception at beach level. The rooms require updating although the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel is in a beautiful setting but needs a lot of work to bring it back to its prime.

Beach and staff are lovely. Resort is nicely located in a jungle setting. Room was a good size with a big sun deck with loungers. But its foundations had sunk so it was not level. The doors had become out of square and did not close easily or properly. Was very glad we had a villa near the beach. Only 45 stairs to go up and down. And a similar number up to the pool. Calf muscles got quite stiff. Staff were lovely but very limited English. Breakfast surprisingly good. As was dinner. Small menu but well and tastily prepared and presented. And at very reasonable price. Road in is a bit hairy. Narrow and rutted dirt track bulldozed out of a slippy hillside with drops down to the sea. Having travelled in Nepal we were ok with it. But another guest was sufficiently spooked to go back to the ferry wharf by longtail boat. It is not a one night stopover place. Getting there takes time and effort. It was second day before we started to relax into the get up. Have breakfast. Sit on beach. Have a swim. Sit on the beach some more. Have lunch. Go back to villa for air conditioned rest in afternoon heat. Go up to pool for a swim at low tide. Back to each for a sunset cocktail - they did a good pinacolada -then leisurely dinner and bed. Next day rinse and repeat. Some instructions from the resort as to how to get there would have helped. With advice from Dr Google we booked speedboat ferry from Phuket. Leaves at 9.00am. Got off boat at stop three Koh Jum wharf. Then taxi to resort.

Wir hatten einen Familienbungalow Sea View. Dieser war in zweiter Reihe am Strand und somit mussten wir nicht ständig die vielen steilen Treppen hoch und runter laufen. Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und die Betten sehr bequem. Wir waren über Weihnachten in dem Resort - Hochsaison. Beim Frühstück (welches überraschend doch inklusive war) war es oft voll und man musste mitunter auf einen Tisch warten. Aber ich denke das ist zu anderen Reisezeiten nicht der Fall. Auch gab es. Ich genügend Liegen für alle Gäste aber irgendwie hat es sich doch immer ergeben dass man am Ende des Tages ein bequemes Plätzchen ergattern konnte. Die Preise im Restaurant sind im Vergleich zum Restaurant nebenan eher hochpreisig daher haben wir nur 1x dort zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist über die Straße über einen unbefestigten, sehr holperigen Weg zu erreichen- wir sind zu Fuß in den Ort gelaufen und haben uns dort einen Roller ausgeliehen. Bei trockener Straße kam man mit dem Roller auch bis zum Hotel fahren. Alles in allem ein schöner und sehr entschleunigender Aufenthalt. Das Meerwasser ist aufgrund der Nähe zum Festland und Flussmündung etwas trüber als z.B. auf Koh Lanta aber dennoch erfrischend.

Fantastisk ophold trods vi var uheldige med vejret. Personalet var søde og venlige, men virkelig svære at kommunikere med på nær en enkelt. Godt tip, brug en oversætter app. Stedet er perfekt hvis man vil nyde roen og lytte til bølgernes brusen…

Relax i världsklass

Magisk plats om man verkligen vill ta det lugnt. Apor som väcker en på morgonen och übertrevlig personal gör upplevelsen total. Härlig strand vid högvatten men inte lika kul sen em. Många trappor som kan vara jobbiga, men inga problem för oss.
