"Don't pass up the Far Out Motel! First off, the place has been remodeled and decked out. When you hear the word "Motel", you think "The First 48, Psycho or Vacancy" but this is NOT the case. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The Air Conditioning was nice and cold and the bathroom was well maintained. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and the appliances were new and clean. The Motel is within walking distance to downtown Starkville and very close to MSU. I travel a lot for work and stay at many of the big name Hotels and the Far Out Motel is much more unique."

"Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were very clean. Sheets and towels looked and smelled clean but not a bleach smell which was nice. Mattress was so comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Starkville. "
