"Amazing hotel. The service, the cleen, the decorate, the food❣🌷🌻"

"One of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve ever made; needed a place to stay during my motorcycle adventure through the Black Forest and this was amazing! The extremely friendly staff, food, property, everything…I wish I had known about this area sooner, I definitely would have made this my normal stop more often."

"Beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff and great atmosphere. Wonderful food in the restaurant, and for breakfast buffet."

"Stayed for one night, booked last minute the day before traveling North from Switzerland, needed somewhere in the black forest with good check-in/out times and somewhere to securely park the bike (car park right by the hotel, plenty of eyes on it and it's quite a secluded location so no concerns!) - great little beer garden, food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was great - great value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!"

"The hotel is old, rooms are old, however, it was very, very quiet, safe and clean. The breakfast was excellent, very hearty with lots of variety. A great place to stay right outside of Freiburg with easy driving access to the old city. We would stay here again."

"Such an underrated hotel! This was the cutest simple place we’ve stayed. Ascetically unique with the old style building and modern flare. Staff were so accommodating and make the best breakfast! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quaint place to rest your head."

"Clean room, air conditioning, helpful staff"

"The staff were great, the food was delicious, and the family suites were comfortable! Would stay again."

"Really nice location within the forest. The only noise comes from the birds and the wind in the trees. Excellent restaurant and friendly staff. Just loved it."

"The hotel in general was ok and very close to the centre The stuff was not helpful at all with some of them with zero knowledge of basic English. The room was very cold and a noise coming from the plumbings pipe wakes us at 6 in the morning every morning"

"Clean room and very friendly staff"

"Amazing place! Clean rooms, wonderful breakfast, perfect pool, steam room, sauna, and we can’t wait to return."

"Spotless accommodation all round Brilliant staff very helpful understanding and friendly Great location in the old town Will book again!"

"Great value for price. Place was clean and on the tram line. After-hours check-in using the machine was a bit glitchy, but worked in the end."

"Very good hotel, nice staff."

"Loved this stay so unique and the cafe under served the best food."

"Perfect stay for us as a family! Clean, comfortable and friendly. "

"Great hotel and great location!"

"The breakfast that was included was top notch!"

"We stayed in the Black Forest room and loved it! The view of the ruins from our deck was amazing! Thr breakfast was delicious. We appreciated parking space and could easily walk to everything."
