It is 3AM and I am unable to sleep because of the lack of Air conditioning in the room.
Let me start with the check in. Derek was excellent- he was the only great part of this experience. He was friendly and welcoming. The check in process was fabulous.
We ate dinner at the restaurant. As we entered, there was no one to greet us so after pacing around, we inquired from others at the restaurant on the process and was told to seat ourselves.
There was only one employee who was in the restaurant. Poor thing. She was a bartender, a waitress, a cleaner, a server, a hostess . . . She had to do it all. This review isn’t based on the employee but the brand- the hotel and it's management. Cutting corners will destroy a good name brand hotel and this experience shows that.
We waited 40 minutes+ to be served.Food was mediocre. Price was good and portion size was big.
As we walked into the hallway into our room, the smell of musty, sweaty odor penetrated through every wall in the hotel. There was a lack of air conditioning throughout the hotel- my guess was management was cutting costs.
No bottled water- just a plastic dispenser with ice and cups in the lobby for thirsty guests. Water tasted weird.
Solution- maybe a vending machine or 2? Or- if management is cutting cost they may not want vending machines to add to their electric bill 🙄
I can't sleep 😕 😫 It's too hot.
I have always trusted holiday inn but I will never visit this location again. Read the reviews before you do
