"We have stayed at other Riu resorts and were pleased that Emerald Bay lived up to our expectations. One nice feature is that all the rooms in the tower are ocean view without having to pay extra. The beach was nice and the pool areas had something for everyone. The water park is a nice feature also. We enjoyed the buffet options best but the snack bar was always a good, convenient option. Staff was always helpful and worked hard to keep the common areas clean and inviting."

"The location is central to Monterrey & on main blvd, pretty straight forward as noted on the map of city. Rooms were clean & comfortable. The wifi was not the best. I could not stay connected on video calls for work - very frustrating. The hotel food service was a bit over priced in my opinion. I did find a few options within walking distance. A 5 mins walk down the blvd and I found a large outdoor fruit stand that made smooothies, a Starbucks & VIPs another block down. Opposite direction, right around the corner, a cafe Madcoffee & big work out gym & pharmacy. I would stay here again but not for a work related needs. Wifi was only downer."

"Very different unique almost resort like the staff was amazing serveral people to serve your needs at all times friendly the things i notice was very well maintain rooms very clean and the facilities was family oriented pool garden 24 room service which at 3 am was full service i would stay their again and again it wojkd be a great choice "
