"Our stay was made truly memorable by the exceptional hospitality and generosity of the staff. From the moment we checked in, our party was warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The team took the time to thoroughly explain the facilities, amenities, and everything available to us, ensuring we had all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. What impressed us most was their thoughtfulness. Upon learning that we would be leaving early the next morning, they kindly offered to prepare a packed breakfast for us—a gesture we greatly appreciated. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Each morning featured an abundance of fresh fruits alongside freshly prepared Western breakfast dishes, all of which were delicious and of high quality. They gave us a villa which is spacious and clean equipped with stove, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Lots of sofa and chair to relax with and beach chair outside the villa where we sat before our day ended. Our villa was made sure to be tidy and freshened up when we go back from a day of exploring the island. And they always treat us with the tasty chocolates from their store. These thoughtful touches and outstanding service made our stay in Madeira especially enjoyable. The experience was wonderful, fun, and one that we will remember fondly."

"Beautiful hotel, beautiful scenery and the most magical community. The half board with dinner is the best meal I’ve had in forever, highly recommend. Such a nice welcome and parting gift. The hotel and staff just truly care and are happy. Great beds. Beautiful rooms. We just loved it!"

"Our stay at Mediterrâneo Madeira was exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip. The oceanfront setting is truly special. Sleeping with the windows open and listening to the rhythmic sound of the waves arriving at the shore each night was both relaxing and unforgettable. Breakfast each morning was a wonderful way to start the day. The setting was beautiful, the food was excellent, and it became one of our favorite parts of our stay. The hot tub was a standout feature. Relaxing while overlooking the ocean and gazing up at the towering cliffs. The location was ideal for exploring the island. Having the Continente grocery store nearby was incredibly convenient, and the coastal drive provided easy access to many of Madeira’s most remarkable destinations. We loved visiting the lava pools in Porto Moniz, exploring Fanal Forest above the clouds, and hiking the nearby PR16 trail. Walking through waterfalls, tunnels, and lush landscapes felt like stepping into a lost world. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained, and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful oceanfront retreat with spectacular views and easy access to Madeira’s natural wonders, we highly recommend Mediterrâneo Madeira and would gladly stay here again."

"Do not go to this hotel. Photographs are fake and do not represent the true state of hotel. It is a scam from both, Hotels.com and hotel itself. We came to check in with 8months old baby and could not stay in this hotel. Overall state of the hotel is terrible, obscure and badly maintainted, needing heavy maintenance and restoration. It takes your energy all the way down to the very bottom instead uplifting and giving holiday vibe. But this was just the beginning. First it stunk of damp, then on top of it was all the chemicals that I suspect they have to use to try to mask the damp and mold. We entered the room to be greeted by two cockroaches running away to the drain in the bathroom and my wife started coughing up so badly we could not stay there no longer to risk health issues. I have taken only few photos just to show what it really looks like but the whole building is a wreck. We went to reception and said that we cannot stay here and that this hotel was missold to us by placing fake photographs. They offered to check other two room with upgrade and fantaastic view but the state of them was just as bad as original room and we would not stay there even with this incredible view. We requested full refund due to this situation but despite the scam and many rooms available (no potential loss for hotel) they refused to return money so this will continue as a dispute being escalated to adequate authorities. It is shocking that such dirty tactics are being played."

"This is a great hostel type lodge with separate individual rooms. Our room was a perfect size & there’s a large well stocked shared kitchen that was great. There is dedicated parking with a gate & it’s close to town with all the amenities. The lodge is super clean it’s just other guests who don’t clean up after themselves or read the signs to do so. I would definitely stay here again."

"This is an older house in Seixal with a historical appeal. Only 4 rooms which makes it very cozy and with our room being on the other side of the house - very private. This is a bed and breakfast, but neither the beds nor the breakfast was any good. Mattresses were worn out and should have been replaced long time ago, which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. Breakfast choices were good, but there was no fresh bread, which in a country like Portugal, was really surprising for us. The toasts that were served tasted like saw dust. We just decided to eat at a local bakery in Sao Vincente (only 10 minutes by car) where they had fresh buns and bread everyday. The house is in a great location and the service was good both from the housekeeper (our room was taken care of everyday and fresh towels were provided) and the owner (answering our questions very promptly). However we would not stay there again due to the beds and breakfast issues mentioned above."

"We love this property, the room, views from the room, the location, free parking, the restaurants & bars on site & especially the amazing staff! From check in to check out & all between, we had an amazing time & received top notch service. The staff was warm, friendly & gave so many great suggestions for things to do, see & where to eat. The gentlemen that runs the “Beer House” went above & beyond, he was so fun to chat with. The lady overseeing resort activities was also amazing. She made the activities so much fun. The views from the room were absolutely stunning, & the room itself comfortable & clean. The daily breakfast was plentiful & tasty. I highly recommend this resort for your stay in beautiful Porto Moniz & we personally can not wait to return. I will always choose Aqua Natura for our stay too! I can’t find one negative thing to say about this place."
