"This hotel is amazing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was top notch. Their breakfast buffet was above and beyond. Right across the street from the hotel is a hiking trail around the lake. There are at least 3 to 4 volcanoes that you can see. There is an ice cream store beside the hotel that makes all their own ice cream. It was delicious."

"The property is located in the downtown area. Close walk to all the external restaurants and shopping. The beds were way too soft. It felt like you were sleeping on a bag of marshmallows. The pillows were so thin you had to fold it in half to make it work. And if you wanted another one it was 500 Islandic Kronos extra per pillow. The scrambled eggs and beans at breakfast buffet were cold."

"This place was super easy and convenient. The room was great. It is set up for viewing the Northern Lights with nice big windows. We were there during the summer, so that didn’t matter, but I’m considering returning during the winter."

"This hotel is definitely off the beaten path but the property appears to be quite new and has a refreshing look. Plenty of parking spots (including two EV chargers), lovely dog and cat. Clean room with functional TV and lots of space to put stuff on chair or on a rack. Bed is a bit small considering that it's a singles room. Room temperature leans towards the warm/hot side. Bathroom floor can take some time to dry up but there's enough space. Breakfast are always the same dishes, but they were cooked well. I especially like the coffee machine. It's available to guests for free 24/7, even if you want some chocolate at 11pm. Staff were plentiful during breakfast period, but it can be hard to find receptionist for check-in or check-out. It's well worth the price."

"Very attentive staff. Host at the reception was very welcoming and even showed us to our room! She talked a little about the waterfalls and the best times to see it without many tourists around. The property itself is wonderful with the backdrop of Godafoss. Bathroom was a little small but met our needs. Room was overall clean and cozy."
