"Upon check in the staff says that they didn’t have the room I rented on hotels.com. They were able to put us in a room that was bigger and better. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again."

"Great hotel ! The staff is wonderful. Very helpful. The room was great, The hotel is located right in the middle of the downtown area. Great area to walk and browse. Places to eat are everywhere. The Compton is worth the price for sure."

"We checked in on a Saturday spent Sunday and Monday and checked out Tuesday. They only have continental breakfast on the weekends. So Sunday morning we had their continental breakfast which you had a choice of toaster waffles or toaster waffles. The rooms were nice. The bed was comfortable. I could not take a shower at night because there was no hot water and I told them upfront that there was no hot water. I let the water run for a long time, but it still didn’t get warm so I had to shower in the morning and it still took a little bit for the water to get warm. So we took off to see family after the first night when we got back housekeeping had not been to the room which that’s OK but we had no clean towels so I had to go to the office which was locked and call them to bring us some towel towels and wash rags. But other than all of that it was OK."

"Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel looks a little worn, but the staff made up for that. AWESOME Staff. Our room was super clean, but we did notice by food area and outside trash was over flowing, but as soon as the Sunday manager saw the trash overflowing she was on top of it. I will definitely stay again."
