"Great hotel. VERY new apparently only opened in March. Staff were very helpful. The first day we got there there, there was a power cut across the city but the staff were very helpful and kept us informed. There is no pool or other amenities as yet but apparently that is going to be put in soon. There were a few minor issues like housekeeping not replacing our towels so we had to ask and also had to ask for toilet paper when it ran out but apart from that it was great. The hotel is right on the beach which is great .. located in amongst lots of bar's and restaurants but the location is quiet. You dont need to get up and run to reserve sunloungers we got there after 10am and could still get the pick of loungers. All in all a great holiday and Albania is a nice country very friendly people."

"I had a wonderful stay at Meliá Durrës. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless, and the cleanliness across the whole resort was outstanding. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the pools were beautiful and well maintained. The beach was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, the food fell short of the rest of the experience and didn't quite match the high standards set elsewhere in the resort. A few improvements in the dining options would make this a truly five-star stay."
