"I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is 100 years old. So if you want a cookie cutter big Chain experience, this probably isn’t for you. The hotel has wooden floors, and you walk out the back door literally onto the beach. Mary, the staff member on duty when I checked in was incredibly friendly. If there’s a wedding going on during the weekend, it will be noisy because the building is small and old. But it’s unbelievably charming. I stayed in two hotels while I was in Jacksonville. The first was the Hyatt downtown, the seconds this Hotel. I stayed in the Hyatt first. If I had stayed in this one first, I would never have left. I would stay again in a heartbeat. It’s just that vintage-feeling and so very lovely."

"Everything about the hotel was perfect. Very clean, blackout shades in the room, food was fresh including oatmeal, eggs, yoghurt, etc. Fresh cinnamon rolls. Professional front desk. We will be back"

"It was all excellent except for the street noise on 3rd St S side of the building. A bit noisier than expected so not the most restful experience but was able to sleep. Would go back again but request a different location, something on the parking lot side."
