「We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. 「Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

「Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. 」
