"The room was clean. The staff were helpful and courteous. The shops were literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The pier with amusements ,but no fishing permitted was about a ten minute walk. Check on your room as a standard one may disappoint . An upgrade is always a option one would think?"

"Two problems when I went to room reception said they would sort it but they never did We could not get the telly working we got two channels but could not make it work properly. When I told reception next day they said we should have rung down we were in Bed! Breakfast very good excellent staff . The pie for dinner disappointing. The dead daffodils on table still thrr we e at breakfast unnecessary "

"Second stay, just as enjoyable as the first. Staff are friendly, rooms are a good size though it can be a bit of a walk from reception and a little maze like. Nice location although the building itself is showing signs of its age. Spa downstairs is well equipped and there are lots of peacocks wandering around the grounds. Area is very nice, close to Snowdon, not too far from Chester or the coast. "
