"Hotel is in poor condition, needs repair! Creaky floorboards, water stained walls, and heating system woke us up at 5am sounding like a hammer drill (many others complained!). Staff were good, breakfast ok. Very much a coach party budget hotel - wouldn’t stay again"

"Second stay, just as enjoyable as the first. Staff are friendly, rooms are a good size though it can be a bit of a walk from reception and a little maze like. Nice location although the building itself is showing signs of its age. Spa downstairs is well equipped and there are lots of peacocks wandering around the grounds. Area is very nice, close to Snowdon, not too far from Chester or the coast. "
