「This is a cute property within walking distance to a bus stop. The owners are highly responsive to questions/needs. Air conditioning would have been nice as it was extremely hot during our stay, but this is a nice property overall.」

「Booked the house to stay, 5 months in advance. Had no contact from the owner, so emailed with 1 month until stay date. Was assured everything was fine. They contacted a week and half before stay date to cancel due to routine maintenance. Three hours on the phone to book somewhere else, to be told I had to wait 72 hours before we could rebook. Asked to have my money back and was told 14 days for a refund. Shocking service!」

「Property was overall good. Clean and comfortable. A few small tweaks would make all the difference - shower drain was clogged, a clean dish cloth, decent towels, an iron and ironing board, some glasses.」

「Comfortable house stay, we used as a 1 night stopover on way to Cornwall. It's not particularly scenic, being at the end of an unloved housing estate. The property is clean and practical, but could do with a few tidying up jobs doing. I haven't had to pay a deposit on any other holiday accommodation we have stayed in, it was refunded to us. 」

「Double booked us. Were unable to process refund in time to make alternate accommodation. Last minute bookings much more expensive than budgeted for. Not even an apology. Hotels.com just as much to blame for not being helpful」
