It was the best hotel in town back then, and as far as I am concerned this new version still is the best Manaus has to offer. It's location can't be beat! Cons: room had a pile of dirty at the entrance. There was only one iron available (staff was unable to bring it to your room, you had to go downstairs to grab it and they took 10 minutes to find it(?) - overall the experience was disappointing. "
