「Breakfast was better than average」

「The restaurant was good for dinner, not a la carte breakfast which was so-so and overpriced. There were things advertised for that were not available like all day coffee and tea; room service; inability to bill your room for food in the restaurant. The gift shops were great. 「The resort is beautiful, loved the set up and the grounds , service in the restaurant is very good , food is reasonably priced . We really enjoyed the 2 nights/days we have stayed on the resort . Beautiful birds on the property, you can see spider monkeys next to the pool . We enjoyed the thermals . The employees at the reception were very nice too.」

There was also an animal living in the ceiling, and black fecese continually fell onto our bed. They did not have any of the same room types for us to switch into, so we stuck it out for the night. 「The main benefit of this hotel was its location. It's conveniently located only within 30 min drive from the airport, also just in between 2 main attractions - beaches and volcano. Should also mention that complimentary breakfast was spot on, and of course we daily enjoyed the pool. So overall great experience although the hotel is way outdated and needs a lot of renovations.」

What was unclear during reservation but was a great surprise when we actually got there is that if u are a guest of the hotel, you get access to many nature attractions around without having to pay extra. So the hotel is on a privately owned land and on the same land are waterfalls, ponds, hiking trails. As a guest you have free access to all of these while non guests have to pay to access them.」
