The only problem I had was with my server at breakfast. After he brought my water and juice he never returned to my table. When I was finished with my breakfast I sat for 15 minutes then I asked another server for my bill and they had to go find him.

Staff was all helpful and kind for the most part. Their spa I would not recommend at all. Had a horrible first time experience at a couples massage. Was asked at the beginning of massage if there were problem areas to focus on. I told my therapist my forearms. When I brought up at the end of my massage that my forearms were in pain (because they had not been touched and I didn’t want to be rude) her response was “well I guess you need to get more massages”. The woman my girlfriend had was nice enough though. A lot of rusted areas in my hotel room tub and on the heater. Under the bed had not been vacuumed and I found a child’s toy under there, which further proved it had not been cleaned in a while. My heat stopped working about 11 pm my second night and was promptly taken care of. Outdoor pool and hot tub was nice and I saw staff testing the water on a regular basis which was nice. I’d be willing to stay again if I had to because of the staff, but it would not be my first choice.

It would be nice to have more a la carte options for breakfast. Some chaise loungers by the pool. Dinner was great and all of the staff were helpful and friendly.

Comfortable beds. Great amenities: indoor hot tub & pool, outdoor hot tub & pool (open year round), warm towels for the outdoor pool-although you may have to ask because it appears they don’t keep it full all the time, dry sauna in each locker room. The location can’t be beat! The downsides: pools not regularly cleaned so they were all sandy & not super clean (not disgusting though), no one to oversee the pool areas so kids were not required to use usual pool etiquette - lots of running, yelling, jumping too close to others, jumping close to the hot tub so adults were splashed, spraying water guns in the hot tub.

When we turned on the hot tub in our room, scum shot out of the jets, and one of the jets broke off and hit me. I tried talking to the staff about it that night and in the morning but weren’t offered much help due to management not being there. We were told that management would follow up with us via email and we haven’t heard back in days.

I stayed at this hotel many times. While the staff has always been wonderful, the conditions decline. The 2nd floor carpet is a trip hazard everywhere, it has come unstuck from the undersurface and bubbles up in many areas. Our first room of the night, 261, the toilet broke. They fixed it. Then the shower broke, oscillating between Luke warm and ice cold. I requested a new room, we moved to 251. The water was hot. The security lock was missing. Heating/ac units are rusty. The whole thing needs an overhaul. Again, staff was wonderful, from front desk, to maintenance to housekeeping.

Front desk attendant upon arrival was fabulous. The staff in restaurant were very friendly. The rest of staff including staff at checkout we not friendly non engaging and did not even say thank you for your stay.

The rooms were clean, which was great. Unfortunately, the toilet appears to be on a strict diet—it could barely handle toilet paper alone, never mind the results of last night’s dinner. Also, the bathroom ventilation could use some help… unless the goal is to preserve the atmosphere for future guests.

The pool area was great, but the gym was not. All but one machine was out of order, but only one was marked as so. Also disappointed that there was no water fountain or water refill station in the gym.

We had a lovely visit. Outdoor pool and hot tub in the winter is clutch. Rooms were clean, staff was responsive. Easy access to plenty of dining and experience options. Our three year old said it was her “best vacation ever.”
