"I was in Select … unfortunately the experience was very disappointing overall. While the beach itself is absolutely beautiful and probably the only real highlight of the property, almost everything else fell far below expectations.
The amenities are extremely minimal. No premium alcohol. The “gym” is basically just a tiny room with a few random weights and one treadmill. There is barely enough space for more than two people at a time, and it definitely not a proper fitness center. For anyone who values training or decent facilities while traveling, this will be a major letdown.
Another big issue was the complete lack of room service, which is something many travelers expect from a resort experience. The food quality was also poor throughout the stay. Meals lacked variety, flavor, and overall quality. After a couple of days it became difficult to even look forward to eating there.
The service from the staff was probably the most frustrating part. Customer service felt careless and unorganized. At one point I was literally locked out of my room because the batteries in the electronic door lock had died. Instead of handling the situation quickly and professionally, it took much longer than it should have and nobody seemed particularly concerned.
Overall, this hotel has potential because of the beautiful beach location, but the poor service, weak amenities, bad food, and lack of attention to guest experience made this stay disappointing. I would not return or recommend"
