"So I’m currently here, and the staff isn’t as friendly. But the hotel and location is nice. They maybe could’ve warned us about the Battle of Bands Rehearsal that lodging schools had here, but I guess they weren’t as courteous to do that. And I understand because I’ve done marching band in college and also a educator, but practicing before and after certain hours should be prohibited when staying at a hotel that wasn’t completely booked up for such party. Nonetheless the kids have been great, and vibes downstairs are cool. Just wish the property was a tad bit more friendly and considerate! "

"Overall the property is really nice! It’s clean, walking distance to the mall, and quiet. My only complaint is I, as well as other patrons waited around 15 minutes for someone to show up to the front desk the morning I checked out. There was no phone or bell or any way to contact whoever was supposed to be there. Staff member was nice and apologized for being absent. "

"I had an excellent time at Long Cove. The cabin I stayed in was very clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. The view of the lake from my porch was spectacular. It felt like being away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet it was only a short drive to shopping and food. I would recommend this place every time!"
