"The only problem with the chalet was the beds they need new mattresses, the double bed you roll into the middle, so had poor sleep and woke up in pain."

"A lovely cottage in a great location just a few minutes walk to the waterfront. Well equipped and comfortable. There was a strong smell of damp in two of the bedrooms on arrival but this could have been because the property had not been aired. "

"This is a delightful cottage for 1 or 2 people. Sofas and bed are comfortable; shower room stylish with a great sized shower. And with lovely underfloor heating toes were toastie all weekend. I was able to entertain friends in a relaxed informal environment which was great."

"The first greeting was the stink of dogs had to go to shop and get some smellies, the road noise was terrible ,
So many gaps around windows and doors it never warmed up, the lounge furniture was filthy think it all needs replacing perhaps not have dirty smelly animals in there, managed 3 x nights but couldnt wait to get home."

"Nice and clean, well decorated but small. Very noisy road, and very hot throughout our stay. As the inside temperature never dropped below 24 degrees (19th to 24th June), we tried to leave bedroom windows open at night, but only did so for an hour on the first night, as there is so much traffic for most of the night, roaring up and down, so not had a lot of sleep. Took coffee bags with us as no coffee maker, as per previous reviews. Power shower was pretty weak but sufficed. Very small...

"The self catering flat was clean, well equipped particularly in the kitchen and living room with fans, jigsaws and dvds galore.
There were even binoculars to better appreciate the sea views. "

"This cottage was lovely and had everything you needed. Owners are great and on standby if you need anything. I was there for work and had to sleep in the day. Black out blinds very helpful and rooms comfortable and cosy. I also managed to explore some of the area and is a lovely place to go to on holiday. It is dog friendly, so hope to go back with my dog one day. Extra cupboard for storage if you need by front door/ Shared utility area with next door cottage. Sheep even came up to...

"My 90 year old Mum and I stayed for one night while visiting family. The staff were all helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to meet our needs. Super comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Breakfast included speciality coffees and a good menu of choices. The sun shone for us and we enjoyed the outside spaces. We highly recommend this hotel."
"I was absolutely pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the Hotel, it was exactly suitable for my needs for one night , the room was very clean. The bathroom looked pretty new and spotless, the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with and a nice touch was the bagged continental breakfast for the following morning.
There was a bottle of water in the room a fan for cooling this summer, tea and coffee facilities as well
The only slightly negative thing was I had to park in a local car park a couple of hundred yards away but overall I was really pleased with the Hotel and the price point and I would absolutely recommend it"
"The room was amazing and already cooled down but we also had a fan. It was a very hot day. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Booked our next stay already"
"The room was large with a bed, sofa table and chairs. The kitchen seemed well stocked, although we were only there for one night so did not cook. The only problem was parking, found parking in a multi-storey two streets away. We would stay here again as it was close to Cathedral, town centre and not too far from castle."
"Had a great stay at The Palm Court Hotel, great view, Sea only across the road, was lovely.
Great staff and delicious food!
Would definitely come back ☺️"
"Excellent position, with cathedral, shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
The ride around in the vintage Bentley was excellent.
The room was very comfortable, with excellent air con for the very hot weather.
Restaurant comfortable with good choice.
Staff friendly and helpful, we will return."
"Really nice hotel with good amenities. Good selection at breakfast although food was average. Staff were friendly but not particularly quick. We had afternoon tea - was very basic - would not recommend."
