"This was our second stay at this hotel. We both agreed that in the nine years since our first visit the hotel did not lose its touch. Everything looked solid and classy. I don't know if they had any renovations but nothing looked tired. The staff were amazing, all very helpful and friendly and always around. We did a lot of hiking every day so we took full advantage of the geothermal pool and the sauna and indoor pool in the spa. The park is very beautiful and we did have several walks there too. The room was very adequate. We used the minibar as a fridge and it was one of the best small fridges. The bed was very comfortable and we had very restful sleep every night. Breakfast was amazing - so much variety and everything so fresh and natural! The staff are vigilant and very responsive to your needs even when not explicitly expressed. I especially liked fresh young cheese and multigrain buns. We also had dinner at their restaurant once. It was an excellent meal. We had three meals with tapas at their Gardener bar and enjoyed them very much. One negative point about staying at this hotel is the price of drinks in the bar is outrageous. Cocktails are between 14 and 18 euros, even for a simplest gin and tonic or porto tonico. We had drinks at reasonable prices every day at a 5-star hotel in Madeira and that place was always very busy. I would encourage the food services management at this hotel to do a research and see if lower prices would boost sales and revenue."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tradicampo Eco Country Houses, and it was the perfect final leg of our honeymoon. Both prior to our stay and from the moment we arrived, the host was exceptional—warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay feel special and memorable. The views were spectacular, the gardens and surrounding property were beautifully maintained, and the setting felt peaceful and thoughtfully designed. Travel to and from the property was easy, the location was ideal, and the home itself was very comfortable—everything we needed to relax and fully enjoy our time. Overall, the experience exceeded all expectations. Tradicampo is a special place, and we could not have asked for a better way to close out such an important trip. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back!"

"From the moment you arrive at Furnas Lake Forest Living, you feel a sense of calm. The reception was easy to find and we received a very warm welcome and explanation of the property, then were guided to our house. It was a very personal experience and I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. The houses are secure, quiet, immaculately clean, and situated in a stunning forested area. There are even koi fish in the moat around the houses. All of the finishings were thoughtful and on brand for the location. We were able to enjoy the a la carte breakfast prior to checking out, and it was both delicious and satisfying. I'm very sad that we were unable to secure a reservation for dinner due to a conflicting reservation, but that just means we are due for a trip back! They are working on a spa and additional houses, which will make an already spectacular experience even better, I'm sure. Obrigada for making us feel right at home during our short stay. Can't wait to visit again (for longer this time)."
