Udo Jingu is just next to the sea and there are interesting rocks near the shrine. If I look closely at the bottom left corner you can see a circle of rope which I was told if you managed to throw the stones (which you can buy from the shrine, 5 for ¥500) into the circle then your wishes will be granted.

One of the many shrines of Japan with a most scenic location. It's not difficult to get to except for those with weak legs as there are many steps to climb and if you are able try not to go in the summer! It was scorching hot!

Udo-jingū (鵜戸神宮) is a Shinto shrine located in Nichinan, Miyazaki prefecture, Japan, south of Aoshima. It is the mythical birthplace of Emperor Jimmu's father Yamasachihiko, dedicated to Ugayafukiaezu, Amaterasu, Amenooshihomimi, Ninigi-no-Mikoto, Hoori and Emperor Jimmu. The shrine is popular with young couples hoping for easy childbirth and a happy marriage.

Close to Haneda, plenty of convenience stores around, many local eateries nearby that are delicious, room was super clean, well stocked with amenities, LOVE LOVE THE FULL HOUSEKEEPING - they do a super clean, top up of amenities, PLUS a full change of all the bedsheets. Daily towel change - including face towels. Third stay for us. Washing machine/dryer in the room was so awesome and convenient - well thought of with many hangers and rack for drying if you prefer to hang them up - the heater in the room will dry them overnight while you sleep. Many train stations near by to get to, Bonus was 2 stops to Ginza + Tsukiji Market. Totally nice vibe, not hectic crazy like Shinjuku or Shibuya. Definitely will stay again.

Washer/Dryer inside the room was great. Separate shower and toilet was great. Hotel was very clean. Windows could use a little more sound isolation from outside noise.
