This is a review of how the hotel cares about its guests and not about the facilities. We have been looking forward to staying at this hotel because it was our first time in NICE and the hotel looked good on pictures. Unfortunately due to French airstrike that started on the day we had our flight from London, we could never make it to France. We tried multiple times to talk to hotel, beg forgiveness due to French law "force majeure" under Articles 1218 and 1231‑1 of the civil code and Articles L211‑2 and L211‑16 Code du tourisme. However they asked to email them when we managed to talk to them only once after trying to call and find someone to speak for 3 days in a row. At the end, they were dismissed and very unsympathetic of our situation. They charged us the full 1,000 euros without even talking to us. We were left with very sad and unwelcome feelings. I don't think I appreciate the unkind behavior and "only for the money" attitude of this establishment. Please go at your own risk.

There was very limited staff. Also no easy way for us to get our bags to the room. No refrigerator in the room although they did provide an electric cooler upon request. It seems there was an extra charge for items such as the pool towels. The pool was gorgeous. The area turned out to be good for neighborhood walks and restaurants. Also public transportation.

Only have 2 complaints. 1. When I booked the hotel, I was looking at specific dates initially at the same time I had looked for other dates on a diff location. When I finally decided to book, the app automatically set the date on my last date inquiry on the diff hotel location. My mistake? The apps? Sure it was likely mine for not paying attention. As soon as I paid, i realized it was the wrong date. I contacted expedia right away, not even 20mins. No refunds. Fml! I still booked on the dates I wanted since their hotel fit my budget. Just frustrated that even after 20mins of booking, they wouldnt give any type of credit. 2. My room had a shared room door access. When i checked in, i realized my side of the door was unlocked. Called front desk to lock it, they said they will send someone over. My entire stay it was never locked. I was too exhausted to follow up. Ps if youre a spoiled american like me who wants to sleep with ac on, dont book here in may. They told me their ac wont be on til summer. Had to crack open my window at night (ground floor room) and an unlocked door to the other room… oh well… i lived to tell the story. The area did feel safe and the hotel is fenced.

Grounds and pool were lovely. Unhappy with our assigned room but they did not hesitate to offer another which we loved. Short walk along the water into town and to the docks with numerous restaurants. Enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. Very relaxing.

À éviter!

Expérience extrêmement décevante. Dès que je me suis installé dans mon lit, j’ai été dérangé par un bruit et des vibrations. En ouvrant la fenêtre, j’ai découvert qu’une unité de climatisation située à quelques mètres s’activait toutes les 10 minutes, rendant la nuit insupportable. J’ai tenté de contacter la réception via le téléphone de la chambre, mais il ne fonctionnait pas. J’ai alors essayé avec mon téléphone portable, sans succès. Contraint de me rhabiller et de marcher quelques minutes jusqu’à l’accueil, j’ai découvert, à ma grande surprise, qu’il était fermé. Le personnel sur place, bien que très aimable, m’a informé qu’un changement de chambre ou un remboursement n’était pas possible. Après avoir insisté, il a finalement contacté son responsable, ce qui m’a permis d’obtenir une nouvelle chambre. Malheureusement, la propreté laissait également à désirer, aussi bien dans la première que dans la seconde chambre : des poils dans la douche et des résidus de serpillière traînaient au sol. Une expérience décevante du début à la fin. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel et regrette de ne pas avoir réservé celui d’à côté.
