「We enjoyed the quaint atmosphere of the property, especially the fact that it looked “dated.” Living in a city like Toronto, we are used to seeing tall glass monstrosities, and we always appreciate seeing older architecture. We were not disturbed by anyone else. In fact, it felt like we were in the building alone. The amenities were nice, even though we didn’t use the common spaces. Instructions and information were clearly communicated, and we had no issues overall.」

「We enjoyed a beautiful 2 day stay at Old Ivy Walk. Situated a block from the main street (and an easy stroll to the waterfront), it was perfectly situated to walk everywhere. Modern facilities in a period building. Phil (the proprietor) was very helpful and gave great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Breakfast is delivered to your room in a box which allowed us to eat outdoors in the very well maintained gardens. We will definitely return.」

「Being a frequent traveller I've stayed in many B&B in Europe and Asia. But so far this is the best B&B I've ever stayed in my life. We arrived late due to traffic jam but the host stayed up and helped us with the check in. We have lots of luggages so the host upgrades our room to a spacious Purple butterfly without any additional charge. The breakfast every morning is delicious, fresh and abundant with lots of variety, we brought along a 3-year-old and the host even prepare additional donuts...
