They cancelled our room a week before our trip as they said it was for the fire victims of Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario but when we talked with others around they said why would they come to Niagara Falls. They moved us to the Embassy and the room they gave us was a street view not a city view even though I paid extra for a city view. The bathroom and room was very small, one elevator that you could use very poor of a hotel. The room was not worth the money we paid very disappointed in the whole experience. Especially coming for our 25th anniversary. Will not come back again.

The property moved us to Doubletree, which couldn’t provide what we reserved and paid for. The was unsatisfactory by both properties and would not recommend either property.

Great hotel. Great breakfast. Our room was on the 39th floor. Excellent idea of the falls. My only issue is the AC in the room. It never really got cold to our liking. They seem to be using motion activated AC system. So it shuts off in the middle of the night. So you wake up about 3am sweating. Not Fun. Other than that it was a great stay.
Oh and off site parking was easy to get to and from. Although it seemed really expensive.

We booked this resort for a long weekend - 2 rooms.
I was called the weekend before to say that our reservations were being moved due to evacuees from the wildfires being relocated there. They left a voicemail as I was unable to answer at the time. The voicemail told me we were being moved to the DoubleTree. I called on Monday to confirm this- I was then told our new reservation was at the Embassy Suites. We arrived at the Embassy Suites on Thursday and told we only had one room. We explained the situation and they advised us to call the Wyndham. I called 4 or 5 times and no one answered. We drove down to speak to someone, two people were standing at the desk (not sure why someone didn’t answer our call). We explained again what was going on. They told us since our rooms were under two names (even though they were the same reservation) one of our rooms had been moved to the Embassy Suites and the other was moved to the Doubletree. After waiting around for 20 minutes they were finally able to move both reservations to the Doubletree. I just don’t understand why two rooms (yes I understand were technically under two names) that were under the same reservation would have been split up. However, after being in the Wyndham lobby, I’m glad we were moved. Both other hotels were a lot nicer. The Doubletree took care of us, was very clean, and was still just a short walk to everything that the area has to offer

Poor customer service. No empathy at all. Upon checking in, front desk notifiy us our reservations was cancelled. They put us on the spot. No empathy at all, they offer no other alternatives, no emails or whatsoever. it was peak season in Niagara, so we just look on our own. I will never book again in this hotel. Good thing Hilton is just right beside. 500% much better service and friendliness of the staff.

What I didn’t like was that Wyndham cancelled my reservation, 6 days before my stay was to commence and offered no alternative property or hotel. Very bad customer care.

The Check In personnel and Hotel Manager was So helpful and accommodating to our hotel changes that it went very smoothly and less stressful for us. The rooms were clean, and bed was very comfortable! It wasn't too soft and not too hard just right to sleep.

They decided to do a shift change when there were 8 people in line!
