Disappointing breakfast, overall felt more like a motel
We stayed for two nights. The front desk manager, Mr. Happy, was very polite and helpful, which we appreciated. The location was convenient and within a reasonable distance from Niagara Falls. The room was clean, but we were surprised to find no slippers, not even in the bathroom, and there was no bottle of water in the fridge.
The most disappointing part of our stay was the breakfast. It was advertised as a “continental breakfast,” but unfortunately it didn’t even match the quality of a basic breakfast from a local café. There was no cheese, no tomatoes, no fresh eggs, and no sandwich maker. The cafeteria itself was located in the basement and the tables were not clean, which made the experience even more unpleasant.
Another issue was that the bathroom had no ventilation, which made it quite uncomfortable after showers.
Overall, the property lacked the standard features of a typical hotel and felt more like a motel. We expected a bit more based on the description provided online.
