Had to pay extra to get a King bed. Plenty of other hotels were available. Upgraded room was clean but had no shower. Expedia rating was highly inflated.

Un séjour parfait ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. L’accueil était chaleureux, le personnel toujours souriant et disponible. La chambre était propre, confortable et bien équipée. L’emplacement est idéal, proche des attractions principales et facile d’accès. Le petit déjeuner était varié et délicieux. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons vivement cet établissement !

Older hotel in need of some upgrades. Carpet in the room was pretty old and the area rug was curled up in one corner and was a tripping hazard. The TV was old and slow. The staff was great and the breakfast was good. Overall a decent place to spend the night

I HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! The hotel is completely unaccommodating to customers’s needs. We booked for two nights but my husband and I had an emergency due to which we wanted to cancel for the first night. We requested the hotel multiple times through Expedia twice and I personally contacted them latter my husband called them as well. We called them a day and half in advance through Expedia, explaining our problem (we were well in advance calling and informing them). However there were no efforts made to change or accommodate or adjust the prices or even give a one time exception. Instead they blamed us saying we did not call them sooner, which I don’t understand how could I have know about an emergency sooner. And the lady at front desk said if you booked you would have been sure, so we don’t understand why you want to cancel. Which made no sense to me. It felt like they didn’t really care what their customer was going through (all they cared was about their business). I don’t think any business runs without the customer. The hotel also isn’t too bougie. I’ve stayed at multiple places but never experienced such a bad customer service ever. The manager and the woman at the desk were extremely un empathetic and kept replying “this is our policy” over and over again rather than providing a solution. I’ve seen extremely giant businesses accommodate to customers need and bend over their policies. I don’t think they care about anything apart from their money.

This hotel could be a real gem if management invested in refurbishing. Wide hallways, large rooms, nice facility, but very dated. Decor, bedding, AC units, fixtures could all use updating. The area around the hotel is full of shopping, gas and dining options, and we walked all the way to Clifton Hill area and the Falls, which is certainly not difficult from this distance. There were some "characters" walking on the street outside, and from our room, we did see security at a nearby motel detaining some (what appeared to be) meth heads outside one of their rooms and searching them and their bags.

The room was good, a little outdated, but clean. Breakfast was okay; it had many options. The one thing I didn't like was the waffle machine, which was oversprayed with PAM spray. The girl who was attending the breakfast area was also cooking the waffles for people and had to use her fingers to pull off the waffle that was stuck; she didn't use gloves. She was also taking the garbage bag out of the bin and cleaning the counters with a dirty cloth, and now all these germs were on your waffle. For health reasons, this needs the hotel's attention.
