We are two late 30s/early 40s backpackers, from the US. We booked the all-inclusive as a nice "treat" for Christmas week. Overall, the hotel is nice and clean. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner had wide varities, though lacking slightly on "western" breakfast options. We definitely never left hungry though. The kicker: We were the ONLY Americans (or Brits, Aussies, anything...0 native English-speaking guests other than us.) The staff assumed we were Russian like the other 99% of the guests and always spoke to us in Russian. We'd instantly reply in English and they'd quickly smile and switch to English (shocked that we were there for sure). Entertainment was in English at night (music--aside from the Russians doing karaoke). All in all, it was an interesting stay. I was disappointed about Christmas, they were fully decorated for the holiday but we had zero people say Merry Christmas and zero "Christmas dinner" items that day, which I found off. Why no turkey, ham, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes casserole? If you have thick skin, don't mind making 0 friends and can laugh at the awkwardness of it all--this is a fine place for some english speakers to chill for a few days.

Great service and facilities, nice pools, well taken care of. The staff at kids entertainment area were amazing especially Anton. The problem was that all my family got stomach upsets from the food which affected our experience

Our stay was interesting…… first off the resort is clearly not for western travelers. It really caters to more of a Russian traveler and a little bit Korean traveler. When we got there the front desk staff wasn’t very friendly or welcoming, we didn’t receive a welcome drink and was made to wait for our room in the lobby. Anytime we had a question they couldn’t answer it and really seemed to be bothered. The rooms are a bit dated and the double seaside view was a view of trees….. not really the ocean. The buildings need a good cleaning and painting. There is a shuttle but not to the airport and if you want you have to schedule it 24 hours ahead of time. We ended up hiring a driver because it was easier and more convenient. Do not forgot to bring anything because the little store they have is extremely over priced- we paid $35 for a sunscreen. The entertainment was 75% in Russian and so was the music, I don’t think we heard a song from the last 2 years……. Now the good - the wait staff and bar staff are amazing, very friendly and always smiling. The food was great also. We were there for New Years and they had a great selection of everything. The pool was also very nice, the beach was beautiful but it had a massive rip tides, so not great for swimming. Over all of you want to feel like you’re back in the 90’s this is perfect !

i really liked the service from the resort. everyone was soooo nice and i liked that they had korean talking staff. i wanted to order drink off the menu and i could get some without extra fee. there is nothing to do around the resort but you can use the shuttle moving resort to nahtrang (extra fee) so it was ok

This property should NOT be rated a 5 Star. This properly is more like a 4 or 4.25 star. Staff and resort are wonderful but the food is BAD, Same recycled boring food items everyday. Buffet food items are served mostly warm or cold. Drinks are okay but not top-shelf or worthy of a 5 Star resort. You can pay extra for better drinks and better foods at the A la carte restaurant BUT that not included with the all-inclusive package??? This is an OVER-RATED resort but okay for a Very very very short stay.

Lovely hotel, a bit out of the way and not English

We arrived at 10am as our flight was an early one, the reception staff were amazing, they looked after our bags and managed to get us a room by midday! During our stay the food was great, staff were lovely, room was comfortable and pools were clean and refreshing. We wanted to relax so decided to stay close to the airport, bear this in mind if you stay here as the closest shop is a 10 minute drive taxi ride away! We went into central Nhà Trắng once and the taxi was 45 minutes. Very beautiful city! When we checked out they let us continue to use the all inclusive facilities all day until we left for the airport, very nice touch! My only slightly negative comment on the hotel is that we were the only English/western people in the entire complex, everyone was from Russia, Kazakstan or Asia… not a major issue but not a lot of the staff spoke very good English as a result and all the karaoke was in a foreign language! Most staff were astounded when I said please and thank you! Overall had a lovely relaxing 3 day stay here and would definitely come back to Nhà Trang again!

the best hotel

all inclusive is very very good. The best hotel with drinks, snacks and even alcohol as well as meals. Moreover, I could easily participate in the activity program, so I could spend a fruitful day.

Upon arrival, I felt the front desk. Staff weren’t as welcoming and friendly, there was no welcome drink, and they didn’t seem to wanna answer my questions about the airport. She referred me to the customer’s desk. The only thing in the mini bar was pop and little box juices. You could not take alcohol to your room.

Clean Property, Delicious Food, but too loud!! Our kids loved the kids club and swimming. The pools were well maintained and the food was amazing! Some of the extra entertainment options like the mini-golf and the basketball courts needed improvement/ repair. The beach access was incredible! However, be prepared for no/little sleep. The outdoor dance show blasts music until late, and then the indoor night club blasts the music from the first floor until early morning hours. It doesn’t matter where you sleep in the hotel, the overly loud bass music carries into every floor. When we asked them to turn it down, we were ignored. Swandor is a party resort, not a quiet vacation.

A very unsanitary resort with cockroaches!!!

5성급이라면서 바퀴벌레 나오는 더러운 리조트. 체크아웃 직전에 바퀴벌레가 나와서 짐을 다시 정리하느라 고작 10분 늦었는데 전화로 빨리 나가라고 계속 푸시함. 바퀴벌레가 나와서 그렇다고 설명했더니 보통 없긴 한데 있을 수도 있다면서 일단 체크아웃하라고 등 떠밀음. 한국어 잘만 하던 직원이 갑자기 잘 못 알아듣는 척함. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 리셉션에 내려와서도 사진까지 보여주며 설명했는데 다 씹고 'check-out finished!' ㅇㅈㄹ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 바퀴벌레가 나왔으면 사과가 먼저 아니냐고 얘기했더니 그제서야 마지못해 'okay, sorry~' 이러더니 지들끼리 베트남어로 얘기하면서 피식피식 웃음. 음식도 진짜 드럽게 맛 없고 먹을만한 거 하나도 없음. 방에서 바퀴벌레가 나올 정도면 식당에는 바글바글하겠지 뭐. 한국인이라고 무시하는 건지 리뷰 남기겠다고 해도 맘대로 하라고 함. Very unsanitary and cockroach infested resort. Just before check-out, a cockroach came out and I was just 10 minutes late because I had to repackage my luggage, but they kept calling me to hurry up and leave. When I explained that there was a cockroach, he said that there usually aren't any, but that there might be some, and told me to check out first. An employee who was good at Korean suddenly pretended not to understand. lol I went down to the reception and explained it to them, even showing them pictures, but they ignored everything and just said, 'check-out finished!' When I told them that if a cockroach appeared, wouldn't it be better to apologize first, they reluctantly said, "okay, sorry~" and then started talking to each other in Vietnamese and snickering. The food is also really bad and there is nothing worth eating. If there are cockroaches in the room, there must be a lot of them in the restaurant. They ignore me because I'm Korean, and even when I ask to leave a review, they tell me to do whatever I want.
