I had an executive double with sea view which was large and spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony, mini bar, robes, room service, bottles of water. And super clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, even letting me check in early. The breakfast was great - it felt more like a dinner buffet with the range and types of foods available. It’s not the usual western breakfast but you can get eggs and toast, cereal, etc. and it’s a good opportunity to try new foods. The hotel is right opposite the beach (down a little alleyway) and surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants, massage shops, and a laundry.
It has a section of the beach for guests, with beds and umbrellas, but it’s across a busy road and the beach has no toilet or bar/food facilities, so it’s a few minutes walk back across the road to go to the bathroom.
There is a rooftop pool but it’s small (not big enough to swim) and under a ceiling with open walls so doesn’t get any sun, so it’s not possible to sunbathe there, which was disappointing and not very clear on Expedia when I booked. I didn’t use the spa but it was large and clean, and the gym is well equipped and the view is spectacular. There’s no water available in the gym though, which was a pain.
This hotel very much caters for a Russian and Asian audience but I really liked it. I don’t think it would be considered 5 star in Western Europe but it’s lovely and very comfortable and I would definitely go back.
