Thought the property was going to be nice due to the outside but it was not, my family of 4 stayed one night and woke up to bedbug bites all over our body, let the manager know and he basically stated he cannot control who stay and what they bring to his hotel, smh I should have known because the mattresses didn’t have a mattress cover or protector 🚩Red Flag, Manager also tried to offer me $25 in cash when I paid $82 for the night through expedia, he stated that being I booked 3rd party they don’t get that amount from expedia so that’s all he could offer me. NEVER AGAIN💯💪

Smells terribly of cigarette and vape smoke in the hallways despite signs everywhere that said no smoking. The rooms were clean enough-ish - hairs in the corners of the bathroom floors etc. The lighting everywhere is dim and depressing. One of our rooms had severe and active water damage in the bathroom - thankfully they had another room available. The staff was very kind, and it was cheap - those were the only good points.

Smoke smell and lack of accessibility
The hotel itself is pretty run down and smells of weed/cigarette smoke. The room was surprisingly clean-- I say surprisingly because it smelled immediately wet and like smoke. There is also a lack of accessibility- no ramp to the first floor rooms. The first floor has three steps down to it. The coffee here is also awful- it's like instant mixed with hot water in the machine and it made one of my friends sick. Wouldn't recommend this place.

You will like this place
I enjoyed my time at the Inn. The couple running the place were kind and attentive. Anything I needed they were able to supply. The toilet in my room was malfunctioning and I mentioned it to the front desk and within 30 min, maintainance was at the door and had it fixed. It was quiet and peaceful. I do plan to stay here again when I visit family in VA.

I enjoyed my stay. Only one minor problem…upon entering the room there was a stale odor. You can detect it each time you go into the room. After several minutes it was not detectable.

When you walk in it smells like smoke but in the room ( non smoking room at least ) it didn’t smell bad at all. The room was clean when I walked in. Nice size room. Bathroom was clean. The front desk was super helpful. My tv wasn’t working and they tried fixing it and sent maintenance immediately. For the price I say it’s worth it. I’ll definitely be going back when I drive back down.
