「Good hotel with quality views from the bedroom and super breakfast will be returning soon」

「As soon as we walked through the door, we knew we made the right choice. The restaurant/bar area was beautiful and cozy. The hotel staff was welcoming. Our room was nicely decorated, and the bay window view of the sea was gorgeous. I will stay at the Avoca any time that I return to Newcastle.」

「The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The staff in the bar serving afternoon food and drinks were slow and not very knowledgeable, also the snack choices were very limited. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The swimming pool was very poor paint peeling, rust around units on the walls. The steam room and sauna not very inviting.」

「Wonderful location, cozy beds, fantastic breakfast & staff.」

「Welcome was good, friendly and informative. Room was pleasant, clean and well situated with à separate entrance to Restaurant. Meals taken were good with excellent selection for breakfast. We were aware of entertainment in the Bar, which was excellent both nights. Note: entertainment is not availble in their Bar every night but there is entertainment somewhere in Rostrevor each night.」

「Spacious ,clean .Relaxed style of accomodation and location. No fancy or long check in and check out procedures .Simplicity at its best with the style to match」

「This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water.」

「Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.」

「Really recommend kilmorey arms staff so helpful . This is the second time I have stayed here and my room this time was even better than last time. It was lovely to see a big walk in shower. Breakfast was really nice and very attentive staff.」

「I would stay again.good staff, great location and near bus route into Belfast」

「Unfortunately I cannot post photos of the property but where to begin. When we arrived we were greeted with full bins and rubbish on the floor which we were told to pick up. The outside furniture is in a horrible state that I wouldn’t even let the kids sit on with the rust. The oven was in a disgusting state and the fridge door was broken. The state of the cottage was like nothing I’ve seen before. Which is very surprising considering that when you book this property you are then told that the...
