Top Newberg Hotel Reviews

The Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown

8/10 Good

"The hotel is great. Loved the room and the staff is very nice and exceedingly pleasant to deal with. It very quiet in the inside and it’s pet friendly. I met the cutest frenchie in the lobby and he and I just chilled and had a moment lol. The only downside, is the surrounding area. The area closes down pretty early and around the corner at the 24 convenience store, there were some questionable characters out front. I did’t get harassed, they did leave alone but it felt unsafe. Maybe that’s more me than them, but I was with my kid. That being said, loved the hotel itself. It is what I look for in terms of quality."

The Paramount Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I always stay at the Paramount when I am in Portland. Great location and the staff is awesome. No coffee in the room but that’s a minor inconvenience."
