Great location, obviously centrally located. Stayed here 2 years in a row now for our anniversary. Staffs very friendly and professional. Beds super comfy, bathrooms awesome . Opt in for the king loft with the mirror shower/bath.
LOVED our stay here! FANTASTIC location!! Spacious room!!!!! Our only disappointment was the lobby bar advertised has not been in existence since 2018 :( but there is a fabulous bar next door called Jane Doe Lounge that we loved. We would definitely stay here again!
The room has a full length mirror, a vanity for makeup in addition to the standard bathroom mirror. Smart TV so I could cast my own stuff. So far the most accomodating hotel, in terms of the room. I hope they get a hotel bar soon! However there are places to drink/eat only a few doors down.
The location was unbelievable. The staff was great and they offered free bottled water and gave us an upgrade to a huge room not just buy New York standards, any standards. We loved retro feel of our room end of the lobby. It was like stepping back in time in a very cool way. It was too bad. They didn’t have the bar and restaurant operating, but I could see it being a great place once they do get to that point. We will be back.
The staff were great. The room was not worth the high rates. It was clear that the room had not been properly ventilated for a while. Floor boards require attention. Bathroom amenities are too fragrant for persons with allergies. Pillows were too soft. The lack of TV channel options was interesting in 2026. I don’t plan to return.
The staff were amazing and so helpful if you’re looking for restaurants or stores. Great suggestions for sight seeing too! If the bar/lounge area was up and running this place would be a knock out!
The staff is excellent, especially the doormen like Dino. Phillipe Staark renovations are ancient, 2007 renovations are also old. This was a lounge bar scene at one point, now the bar doesn’t even open. Elevators or 2 were not functioning sometimes. King room and bathroom are spacious, location is great. But new ownership and a fresh renovation is due.
Not a ton of amenities but the property was well maintained, close to theaters, shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
My go to spot in NYC, convenient location, beds are always very comfortable and the staff is great

The luggage guy was super friendly and helpful. Front desk staff was just transactional .
Room was mid, way too many phones, and there was a creepy photo of an old family in there - I told my girlfriend that was the family that was murdered in the room. Felt very dark and vampireish
Why is there a toilet phone, a desk phone, and a bed phone? Who is using these? Makes the room creepy. Toilet phone is wild!
