The plus of this property is it seems safe enough inside. It was semi clean, besides the booger on the bedsheets and no soap for the bathroom sink. The misconceptions are the “valet” parking. There is none. You have to drive around until you find parking at a garage, in an area that isn’t super great for vacationers. Another stretch the truth is the no smoking policy. Maybe they don’t allow it right on premises, but we had to walk through clouds of refer smoke at the front door to get into the building and could smell it coming in the vents of our room. Not exactly appealing. The surrounding area is not for tourists. Very dirty and maybe unsafe for wandering.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a package with flight and accommodation. The hotel is clean, cozy, and nicely designed. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made a great impression. Upon check-in, we received drink vouchers — a lovely bonus. We arrived at 3 AM due to a flight delay. Although the hotel was informed of our late arrival through the package, we were asked whether we had checked in online (we hadn’t received any notice about this). Thankfully, we were checked in, but we were told our reservation was close to being canceled. Better communication for late arrivals would be helpful. The hotel doesn’t offer an airport transfer, so we had to take a taxi. When we arrived, the main doors were locked (they close them at 1–3 AM), but someone kindly let us in. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There are no slippers provided, and the floor is concrete and tile. Though the floor is heated, disposable slippers would be a nice addition. The hotel is around 50 minutes by public transport from Manhattan and an 11-minute walk from the subway. The area directly in front is clean, but a short walk beyond feels less safe, with a lot of noise and trash. The neighborhood is mostly Spanish-speaking and has an older, urban vibe. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel itself and the friendly staff. With improved communication and a few extra touches, the experience could be even better.

False advertisement of this hotel. Room is a lot smaller, location is in the Bronx not Harlem or manhattan. Please do better for customers by posting the accurate pictures and information of the hotel instead of ripping them off with their money. Our room look nothing like the pictures. The staff were rude and unpleasant.

Property was perfectly fine. It was rather small but that's what you expect I suppose in Manhattan. It was a weird thing where we had to buy two drinks for $22 to get the hotel room. I would have preferred not to have had the drink. The bed was comfortable everything was adequate. We were close to everything that we wanted to be near.

No space in bathroom for toiletries. Uneven mattress. Raw concrete floor in room. Unpleasant. Overall inadequate and left me feeling nickeled and dimed. Definitely not 4 stars property. The neighboring area dirty and strewn with garbage. Building on the next block has a 5g tower on top of it emitting strong emf disrupting sleep. Terrible location for a hotel. Avoid. Restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday.
