This place is the worst. We get to our room and find damages (wallpaper peeling, dent in ceiling, smoke detector falling out of ceiling) and mold in the sink. Had to go to front desk (since they were too busy when I called) and got a new room. Immediately saw more mold in the sink.
Went back to the desk again and had to wait for a manager. She had trouble finding another room and then offered to visually inspect it to make sure there wasn't any mold. We declined her offer and asked to cancel our reservation. She agreed with us and said they would honor the cancellation without charging. Before we left, she confirmed that we weren't charged.
Short time later, Park Central charged us for one night stay Over the past 10 days, numerous attempts by both me and Expedia to contact a manager to remove the charge have been unsuccessful. Apparently, the manager is never available, or "just stepped out" or "will call you right back." I've now had to go through my credit card company to dispute the transaction.
If you like damaged/dirty rooms with mold, hotel staff that ignore you, lie to you about charges, and then never respond to any correspondence from either you or Expedia, then this ZERO star hotel is for you.
