Always stay here when in town for jazz fest. It’s the event hotel so you get what’s associated therewith. Dining options within join a few blocks are abundant. The high end mall is a few blocks away. And the gym is nice, although three of the machines were broken. Overall, all good.

someone else's dirty linen was on the chair when we came in- the room was only cleaned 2x during a 5 day stay & when we asked house service ,we were told to go down to the front desk to request it- our account was made out incorrectly & front desk staff was unecessarily defensive when we asked for help & clarity - I was bitten by an ant on the 29th floor- worst hotel experience in years

Walking distance to French quarter and amazing city views for the room. Top quality hotel as you’d expect. Just be sure to double check parking valet because Expedia doesn’t explain it properly when covering valet parking. We still owed some money for it as a result

For $300/night, room amenties could be much better. Very small ice bucket, no bags for trash cans, unremarkable shower, very few and limited vending machines, very small counter space in bathroom and have to pay additional for WIFI. On the good side, best elevator sytem ever and location.

Location is convenient. AC and heat did not work properly in room. Room service is terrible they just throw food at you when you open the door. No silverware, napkins or tray! On top of that, they charge $5.00 for delivery!

PROPERTY SHOULD HAVE SENT SOME TYPE OF NOTICE TO GUEST PRIOR TO ARRIVAL ON HOW TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE MARDI GRAS TRAFFIC TO ENTER THE HOTEL PARKING. INSTEAD, I DROVE AROUND 2.5 HRS TRYING TO GET INTO THE PARKING GARAGE, WHICH COULD HAVE AVOIDED ME WASTING TIME AND GAS AFTER DRIVING FROM OUT OF STATE TO ATTEND MARDI GRAS.

Property was good but a bit dated in some respects and in need of basic upkeep. The duvet in our room was clumped up feathers, we requested two more blankets and they were the same. Looks like they have all been washed to many times and not taken care of properly. Staff was very pleasant and attentive but there is not much they can do when the supplies are worn out. We enjoyed our stay in the city and the location was conveniently located for dining and shopping.
