Located right next to Trolley stop on the St. Charles line and with a number of nice restaurants nearby, this quaint hotel is very nice and clean and imparts a feeling of old New Orleans to your stay! The staff is excellent.

What I like about the property is that it is quiet and peaceful. The only con was my room did not have a window, only in the bathroom and the AC unit location. I wish the room had a ceiling fan installed as a cooling option. Overall, I enjoyed my weekend visit and had a positive experience! The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Though the rooms were clean it did not meet safety standards. Our safe would not open the next day and our friends safe in their room did not work at all. We waited all morning to have a service person come. They did not have the security key to access the safe and after quite a bit of time they eventually were able to contact the head guy only to say that they would have to watch a video to try and figure it out. Eventually it was opened but we could not trust leaving our passport or money in the safe. The manager said they would be replacing all the safes in the rooms as this was a problem!!! She should have told us in the beginning. We missed our tour that we had arranged for that morning while waiting around for the service guys and it took up the time we were able to spend in New Orleans as we were leaving on a cruise the next morning. If it had happened the day of our cruise we would have missed our cruise. They were very hard to contact as there was only someone there from 12-8 each day. We could only leave a message on their phone with no one getting back so we had to phone several times to find out what they were going to do to help us. The manager said that we would be compensated for this but we never were …Like wiping their hands clean after we left with a smile. Not a good place to stay.

I paid for an upgrade with a larger room with a desk. I have pictures, but don't know how to put them on your site. The only good thing was Diane the desk person. Only on the property from noon to 8:00 PM. It was dirty paint chips on the floor. Insect in corners of bathroom. It was a very small room. Only could fit a small table on one side of the bed. The property in our room was not like the rest of the rooms. We checked w\the rooms did look nicer. We had to go outside on a small porch to get to our room, the first night we entered the porch was after dark no light bulbs in the fixtures. We told them, and the put light bulbs in after the first night. It rained two nights while we stayed there it was awful trying to get in the room in the rain. The refrigerator did not work. They did replace it. We were told our room was and upgrade, I don' see how. If y9u tell me how to get the pictures to you. I would love to show you. Nothing like what I ordered. Very sad. I ordered it for myself and my daughter. SO DISAPPOINTED

Location is very good as it is beside the street car line. It’s walkable to some nice cafes and restaurants and looks relatively safe. Room is spacious and clean. Furnishing is okay but looks aged. There’s only one person at front desk and she’s not there after hours during the night. Window is not double paned and noise from street traffic can be heard. My experience was made more unpleasant by the noise of water dripping from an upstairs a/c unit throughout the night.

The Historic Streetcar Inn is a perfect place to stay that is easy to get to the CBD and French Quarter! It is also very quiet and the beds are comfy. Zoe is fantastic and very quick to respond to calls/texts! This was our second stay and we will absolutely stay again!

We only had one washcloth for two people. The light was out on our porch. The Roku remote did not work and was not properly programmed to the TV with new batteries installed into it. The bed is a full size not a queen. The room felt very humid with the window unit blasting. The fire alarm flashes right above your head in the bed. Staff seem very nice but they are not on site.

There was an issue with the keyless doors. They took care of it right away but the locksmiths they employed were pounding/drilling at 3am working on the doors and yelling from one floor to the other right outside my room. It was a tough situation for sure. I get things happen, but they obviously had no consideration for sleeping guests. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and the inn was quite lovely. My bed was soft and the shower felt great. The pizza joint next door was yummy. I was warned by a police officer that I needed to take care as there is a transient population in the area and armed muggings were common. That was worrisome.

Very utilitarian. Room was clean, staff is very accessible through text, room temperature was fine (and within my control). Not a lot of wasted space in the building dedicated to group gathering (other than outside patio). This was great for me - I just wanted a clean, affordable, and comfortable place to rest my head during parents weekend. Was perfect

We had an awesome stay at this property. Zoey and Diane were ever so sweet and accommodating. Check-in was seamless and we were able to leave our bag secured up front until our room was ready. The location is perfect for the New Orleans feel without the crowds of Bourbon & Canal streets. We will definitely be back!

I really liked how private the space felt. We were able to come and go as we pleased and barely saw any staff so it felt homey. But the room was quite small with nothing but a bed desk and dresser. No seating area and a small bathroom. Considering the pricing i expected a bit more room. The vending machines dont work at all plus the options are so poorly linited you wouldnt wsnt to use them anyways. The floors though were so dirty they made my white socks black after just 10 minutes there. There was also nobody to ask about extra towels or anything like that most of the time we were there. I didnt even see another person until the day we were leaving and didnt need anything anymore. Overall its a nice property but the price isnt it for how dirty it was

Rex is a fake manager he took my money knowing I wasn’t going to stay the following day the beds are worn out and lumpy couldn’t sleep with the manager right outside the door it was like a board house terrible.

LOVED our stay here. Rex was so friendly & accommodating. We were able to walk to downtown from our stay (3ish miles round trip). We went to lunch right across the street from the inn. Rex gave us excellent recommendations of where to go & what to do around the area. Our room was clean & tidy & perfect for the night. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the fact that they kept the beautiful architecture of New Orleans. The walk into the front desk definitely is worth staying here alone. The room is spacious and beautiful. Will definitely be staying here the next time we visit New Orleans!

It was a bit noisy in the sense that you could pretty easily hear the neighbors in the room next to you, but other that it was a great place to stay.
